Now, before we start with the actual training I want to say a few things. First of all I have chosen to train you after seeing your other training threads and I'm hoping to have a quality training and to pass as much of my own knowledge onto you. For that, I need your full cooperation and I need you to read, think and ask questions. If you can do these things then I'm sure we'll both enjoy the training and it won't be mindless copy-pasting from the jutsu list.
I'll try to explain the core of each jutsu the very best I can and I will sometimes add some possible usages and anything I find interesting about the jutsu and in return I would like you to give me your opinion on the jutsu, how you would use it, how you would defend if it was used against you and so on. In essence, I want this training to be like a discussion instead of me telling you what to do and what not to.

Good. Let's start with some of the very basics. What can you tell me about ninja, chakra and ninjutsu? Please use your own words and tell me everything you think is necessary. I will not grade your response and it's ok if you miss some points. I'm here to add on and fix your mistakes, so no worries.
Ninja -
Ninja in the Narutoverse are people who are capable of manipulating Chakra to perform superhuman feats that would otherwise be impossible for a normal human. Most Ninjas are a part of the military of their Hidden Villages which is like a military base of their nation. The Ninja world has 5 such hidden villages. Each hidden village has a leader called a Kage. Ninjas are ranked as Genin -> Chunin -> Jounin.
Chakra -
Chakra is the combination of Physical and Spiritual Energy. One can improve their control and manipulation of Physical and Spiritual Energies i.e. Chakra by training and experience. Chakra flows through the Chakra Circulaory system which is present throughout the body. This system has 361 Pressure points through which one can release the Chakra. Chakra can be manipulated by using Hand Seals.
Ninjutsu -
Ninjutsu are techniques that require moulding of chakra (Physical and Spiritual Energies) of the Ninja.To excel in Ninjutsu one must have excellent Chakra control. This means that Chakra is the very essence of Ninjutsu. Ninjutsu is a very broad concept and has various categories.They are -

Good for the most part. Kinjutsu is forbidden because it defies the laws of the universe (by bringing back dead, etc.) and not really because it endangers the user. Techniques that do endanger the user are F ranked, because they require great focus and huge amounts of chakra, thus putting a strain on the users body.
Anyway, you did cover some of the most important parts but I have more to add on.
Ninja
A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction, personal griefs or even revenge and can be shared with others or individual. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the great nations. However, a ninja doesn't need to be a fighter. Even medics or a simple carpenter may, in times of need, use his abilities (medical knowledge or abilities in working with wood for example) to accomplish the goals he set to himself, following his beliefs.
Chakra
Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.
Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.
Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.
Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.
Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu, or Ninja Arts, is the ability to, through the use of chakra, accomplish tasks that would be otherwise impossible to do. Ninjutsu are done by 2 stepts: focusing your chakra and molding your chakra. Focusing is using your will power to "will" a portion of your chakra to do something. On the other hand, molding is giving your chakra a set of characteristics that will enable you to produce the desired end effect.
Think of the chakra flow as our breathing. Normally, it happens passively, without any conscious intervention. However, when you need to you can use your will to control it. Its the same with your chakra flow. Its happens normally without your consicious intervention. However, you can focus your chakra and make it produce something.
Now, molding the chakra is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of characteristics/properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use Handseals. Handseals are simply hand gestures that allow the ninja to more easily concentrate and mold the chakra into the desired technique.
Genjutsu
Genjutsu/Illusionary Arts are techniques used to create illusions in the opponent's mind. They are good to confuse or slow down the opponent or even kill the opponent in he fails to get out of genjutsu i.e.killing the opponent while he's still trapped in it. While one can easily break out of a simple Genjutsu without any physical injury or mental stress some Genjustus can cause severe strain on the mind and some genjutsus cannot be broken out of without causing yourself considerable pain to divert your attention towards the pain like breaking a bone. Some Genjutsu are so powerful that they simply knock the opponent out.
Types
KG/Elemental Genjutsu - Genjutsu that requires the user to possess a special KG/Element like Sharingan or Sound. KG/Elemental genjutsus are usually stronger and more effective than Norma Genjutsu. It is relatively difficult to get out of such KG based Genjutsus. The Uchiha Clan was feared for their Sharingan's powerful Genjutsu abilities.
Normal Genjutsu - It does not require the user to have a special KG or Advanced Element. Any Shinobi with a good chakra control and precise working knowledge of genjutsu can excel in Normal Genjutsu.
Working
The user has to perform a specific set of hand seals to activate the genjutsu. When one uses Genjutsu he is actually messing with the opponent's chakra flow in order to show his opponents the illusions. The user uses his own chakra to disrupt the opponent's chakra flow.
Some Genjutsus like Sharingan Genjutsu requires a medium like eye contact to activate.
Detection
Using Logic - One can detect they are in a genjutsu by using their logic. For example if a person finds himself surrounded by thousands of weapons like flying swords, kunais, spears all coming towards him to pierce him he can look at the ground to check whether they have a shadow, if the weapons don't have a shadow then its a Genjutsu as real objects cast shadows on the ground.
Using other senses - Sometimes when you are seeing an illusion, you can use your sense of smell,hearing,touch etc. to detect its not real.
Use Special Abilities(if you have them) - Some ninja have special abilities like Doujutsu users who can see their chakra flow and easily find out its disturbed and Sensors who can sense a disturbance in their chakra.
Breaking Out Of Genjutsu

Excellent, you covered pretty much everything. Now, regarding those normal genjutsu, they can be further divided into groups based on their workings and usefulness. Do you have any idea what they might be? To help you, there's 4 groups.

Paralysis/Restriction are techniques that paralyze your opponent. You opponent often sees something constrict his movements in the illusion and this tricks his mind in reality into not being able to move. These are very useful techniques when you need to regain the upper hand on the opponent. It also, more or less, gives you the ability to "predict" how your opponent might release from the genjutsu so you should plan your following moves according to that.
Trickery are techniques that make your opponent see or believe something that isn't real and isn't there. Simply as that. They're mostly distractions and used for confusion. For example, changing the battlefield or making a fireball look like a water ball, or stuff like that.
Concealing are techniques similar to trickery except that they conceal yourself. Your opponent doesn't see you within the illusion which is always useful for setting up attacks. It often relies to bigger scale illusions that are able to conceal you and your intentions.
Other would be all the techniques that can't be sorted into any of the previous groups but there's not enough of them to be formed into a separate group themselves, thus why they're jumbled up all together.
Now, as we proceed the training there will be some key factors to how it's going to work. I will post the technique and explain everything I find relevant to the technique and from you I expect to give me your opinion into which category does each technique fall and why. Then I'd like you to use your own deduction to release yourself from the genjutsu as if it was used against you in the midst of a battle. You can use any method as long as it's valid.

( Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu ) - Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique

Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.
Ok, now this is the most basic technique. It allows you to change a feature of the battlefield, but only the battlefield and nothing else. This can be useful in environmental manipulation earth techniques. After a mist or smoke you can make something appear. You can do it just like that too, but the opponent will obviously notice it. A cool way to use it when you want to force the opponent to lose contact with the ground is creating earthen spikes that protrude from the ground. In reality he could jump from the surface into your trap, for example.
This Genjutsu falls under the trickery category as the user is just trying to get the opponent off guard and to react in a certain way to environmental changes by tricking him to respond to such changes.
If my opponent uses this genjutsu and for example I see mist but cannot feel moist then I can deduce its a genjutsu, if I see smoke but I don't have a problem to breath then I can deduce its a genjutsu, if I see earth spikes but can't hear the ground move then I can deduce its a genjutsu. Basically I just have to use my other senses to deduce its a Genjutsu. One can break out of it by chipping their finger.

Not quite. It's trickery, yes, but you can't create illusionary mist with this technique. As stated in the description, it only affects the terrain itself so the situation with spikes would work. Exactly, always rely on your other senses to get out of genjutsu. Regarding those very powerful ones that affect all of your senses, the only way out of those is using clever deduction.
( Genjutsu: Kahen Tonsou ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape

Description: The user makes five handseals, appearing to dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals surround the opponent, blocking his vision. This allows the user to mask his movement effectively.
To execute this technique, you perform 5 handseals after which you dissolve in the air leaving only a shower of flower petals around your location. This is generally used to confuse the opponent and to block his vision of your real movements and intentions. Within the illusion, the opponent loses sight of you which can always be helpful.
This is a concealing type of Genjutsu. The user is out of the opponent's view thanks to the flower petals while the opponent is still in the Genjutsu. If my opponent uses this technique I can deduce its an illusion quickly as I can see flower petals but I cannot smell their fragrance. Real petals in such large numbers would definitely fill the air with their fragrance but since these are illusionary so there's no fragrance. Also real petals would make a swirling sound but since I cannot hear the sound, they're not real. This technique is also a terrain bound technique. To make it believable, it must be used in a terrain where there are plants and/or flowers. This technique would fail if used in a desert or in a ice terrain or in a rocky terrain as the opponent will outright spot that its a Genjutsu. I can get out of it by chipping my finger.

Very good. But imagine this. Using the layering principle to layer this genjutsu after the false surroundings illusion. First you make him see the petals grow form the ground, etc and then you disappear, effectively making it seem as a single technique and much more believable than if used separately.

Description: The user does one handseal and throws a paper bomb at the enemy. The enemy, trapped in a genjutsu will see a clone of the user advancing upon him. As the paper bomb reaches the enemy, it explodes
This is a very cool technique. Basically you throw a paper bomb in reality and you perform the handseal to trap the opponent within a genjutsu where he will see a clone of you running towards him, preparing to strike. In reality the paper bomb is flying towards the opponent and one its close it explodes, harming the opponent. Since it's just a paper bomb the damage isn't really bad but if you aim for the right spot you can achieve a greater effect. For example making it explode next to the opponents ear. The explosion will damage his inner ear and make him lose balance and stumble. He will be disoriented and confused, which coupled with the confusion from the genjutsu gives you enough time to prepare and execute other techniques.
@Bold Wow it didn't click me it could be used that way. I was waiting to learn a few more jutsus before I tried to think of combinations.
This is a trickery type of Genjutsu. The user is basically throwing a bomb but the opponent instead sees a clone approaching. If my opponent uses this technique I can deduce it is a Genjutsu when I see the clone approaching but I cannot see its shadow upon the ground, as all tangible things cast shadows. Also if I cannot hear the approaching clone's footsteps then its not real but an illusion. A real clone running might also leave its foot marks on the ground depending on the terrain. If there are no foot marks where the clone stepped then its an illusion. I can get out of it by chipping my finger.
