At this point, the Hokage doesn't even need to be strong. What he does need, however, is a good mentality, to be trustworthy and have a vision of peace. Naruto is by his side with Gai and all the rest (maybe Sasuke too) so fighting should never be a problem.

Those are just people that think you need an op jutsu or ability to be relevant. They don't realize you don't need that much power anymore when the world breakers are gone now.

He hasnt fought at sll since losing it yet people are judging him. Sasuke and Naruto haven't either and they are down an arm each.

You mean kage level lol but yeah he can still solo most of the NV without sharingan. I mean he fought 4 tailed beast without using it with Guy. Just clones and his raiton.

I mean I was just telling the guy that Kakashi had made Chuunin before Itachi even graduated, because he added in 'aside from Itachi', but was wrong.

But as far as your point, here's the thing; Kakashi is world renowned in NV. As much for his sharingan as for his lightning mastery and ninja skill. No single shinobi has ever called Kakashi weak and he has gotten respect from most, if not all of the major villains. Just because you and others on NV think he isn't strong enough to be hokage doesn't mean it's the truth, for a couple reasons.

One, he just lost his sharingan and you have literally given him no chance to show what he can do before you bash him for being weak. Ok cool, but you should keep in mind that it isn't fair to judge a character's abilities not on feats, but on what YOU think he will be w/o sharingan.

Two, throughout the manga Kakashi has always been portrayed as a top tier ninja, literally since his introduction. So clearly Kishi thinks that Kakashi is capable of being Hokage, otherwise... he wouldn't be Hokage. Power is a big part, but Kakashi isn't going to be weak at all, and even so Naruto is still apart of his village, and no one in the world currently can take down Naruto.

This manga has shown the value of teamwork so much, I just don't understand why people think that the kage needs to be a solo God, when that is rarely the case.

And a 3-year-younger Itachi became Kakashi's captain in Anbu Lol

OT: Yeah Kages are diplomats, they sign papers thast their main duty.
Naruto is the ultimate fighter and protector of Konoha. Kages "now-a-days" dont have to be strong, just smart. Kakashi fits the criteria Lol

At this point, Im not going to convince either one of you to alter your viewpoint of him, and you aren't going to convince me to alter mine. So all I have to say is that I respectfully disagree with your opinions.

I think Kakashi will do fine as a hokage without sharingan. We'll see when the movie comes out. If he gets his ass whooped make sure to bump this thread and I will concede my defeat, much like Sasuke.



Anbu isn't necessarily higher than Jonin, and commander of the Anbu is technically the Kage. Anbu is like a separate branch from the main ranks. I believe that skilled chuunin can be in the Anbu as well, correct me if I'm wrong.

sasuke would be the one protecting him and the village in the movie while naruto is away on that mission.
