Naruto would be a fantastic show if they would just stop with the filler all the time. It is one thing to do filler episodes to fill in gaps here or there but adding filler for no reason just needlessly pads a show making it harder to justify the dvd/bluray purchase (As if they will ever bother to release Naruto Bluray. ). I can't help but feel like the show would be better if they just said that it wouldn't be airing for a few weeks to allow manga to get ahead versus what they do now.

Really? Show me an anime that doesn't have a dumb plot. Especially shounen. All the plots are silly, and ridiculous. That's the point. If anybody wanted to be truly moved by some form of literature, they'll go ahead and read Shakespeare. When they want to see dudes blow up planets by throwing fireballs from their hands, you go to anime. Yes, some stories are better than others, but that has never changed my opinion too much. I'm 23. I remembers coming home from school in the 4th grade to watch Goku go SSJ the very first time. It was ****ing awesome! I don't care how shitty that story line is. It had such a huge impact on me, I couldn't bad mouth it if I tried.

The plot of naruto exceeds the plot of DBZ. If you put DBZ above naruto then that means you only watch it for the fights, because thats the only thing that's better about it U_U

Missing the point...Does it seriously only take a superhuman with god-like powers who's blowing sh*t up to make a good anime?

Plot is a serious factor in any story, if a story has a bad plot, i wont watch/read/listen to it

DBZ is only known for its fighting thats it, i could never go back and rewatch the whole DBZ series again because ill find it boring. I can, however go back and watch something like death note, because it has more than one factor that makes it good, rather than having only fighting as its strong suit (Half of the DBZ anime is talking anyways, theres only a handful of fights ill remember).

Nowadays, I will really only watch the anime to see how certain manga scenes are adapted. I can't remember the last time I watched a full episode in one sitting.
