currently one on one sasuke shines since almost all his moves are deadly chidori amatersu kirin sussano arrows and enton manipulation im not saying sasuke is the all around best but he has the tools to beat anyone in the naruto verse if used in the right conditions even you sasuke haters cant deny that fact. the biggest bar to measure sasuke has been these nagato vs sasuke threads nagato loses this due to immboility and no counter to amatersu and dont say it gets absorbed if nagato could absorb it he would have when itachi hit him with it chibaku tensai is countered by sussano arrows to the core before it gets to many rocks around it (arrows are lightning fast btw

taijutsu is sasukes due to speed prediction abbilites with the sharingan and mobility and never has the manga stated that nagato is immune to genjutsu until i see that i wont believe it the plain truth is tobi madara and naruto are the only shinobi on par in a one on one situation with sasuke and you could add itachi if he was edo if not ms drawbacks would decide the fight not being a fanboy im being realistic people hes the second most important character bro look how many people praise his power
the kyubbi himself was suprised he was so powerful countless ninjaa? and shi was one of the most powerful ninja in the hidden cloud sasuke one shotted him guys hes skilled so like i said tobi edo madara and naruto are the only ninja currently capable of seriousssslyy overpowering him any other ninja will lose and ill argue with anyone who doesnt believe so BRING IT!
First off, this could have been a lot easier to read with a little punctuation.
The problem with Sasuke isn't his power or his ability to win fights. Yes, I think most people here would agree that Sasuke is pretty powerful and would be able to win against most other ninja in a fair fight. It's the question of how he got that power, and what he does with it that makes many people not like him.
Sasuke is a pawn. He's a toy that stronger and better ninja have used for various purposes: Itachi made several detailed plans about Sasuke's life, including the fact that Sasuke was going to kill Itachi eventually and take Itachi's eyes. Orochimaru made several plans about Sasuke and manipulated him to do various things. In a certain way of looking at things, the Leaf village also tried manipulating him, to keep him away from Orochimaru, to keep him away from Itachi, and to train him to be some kind of hero or savior type. After Orochimaru and Itachi were dead, Tobi was able to manipulate Sasuke too. Remember that Sasuke wanted to go get revenge on the Leaf village, but Tobi convinced him to join Akatsuki and go on several missions instead (Capture Killer Bee, Fight the kage, Kill Danzo, etc)? Remember Tobi talking about all his plans for Sasuke: Give Sasuke Itachi's eyes (already done), synchronize Sasuke with the Gedo Mazo, and force Sasuke to fight Naruto? Tobi has these plans because HE KNOWS HE CAN MAKE THEM HAPPEN if he wants. Tobi knows that Sasuke is easy to manipulate, and he's been doing a great job of manipulating him.
Where does Sasuke get all his power from? He gets power from two places: First, he's an Uchiha so he's born with special eyes and lots of potential. Second, he gets power from other people who give it to him. Where did Sasuke learn Chidori? Kakashi gave it to him. Where did Sasuke get his cursed seal, which was the major source of his power in part 1, and the beginning of part 2? From Orochimaru. Where did Sasuke get his training and other medical enhancements? From Orochimaru. Where did he get his snake techniques and snake summons? From Orochimaru. Where did Sasuke get his EMS eyes? From Itachi (and implanted by Tobi). The only thing we can say that Sasuke has gained for himself have been his MS (grief after the death of Itachi) and his hawk summon. People generally give Sasuke things because they think that he's somehow special and because they know they can manipulate him.
Let's also take a look at how Sasuke uses his power. What are Sasuke's motivations? In part 1 and the early part 2 his motivations were to find and kill Itachi. This was because he had been manipulated into following the path that Itachi set for him, and he followed it blindly. He joined Orochimaru for the same reason, and eventually killed Orochimaru because he realized he had more power by himself. Now, in the most recent chapters he wants to bring Orochimaru back again! I guess it was a mistake to kill him in the first place, when he could have just escaped.
Why did Sasuke fight Killer Bee? Sasuke didn't have the kinds of peace motivations that Nagato or Itachi had. He didn't have the world domination motivations that that Tobi and Madara had. Sasuke's only motivation was blind vengence. Sasuke wanted a little bit more power for himself so he could succeed in destroying the village.
Sasuke killed Orochimaru. Oh wait, that was a mistake.
Sasuke killed Itachi. Oh wait, that might have been a mistake too.
Sasuke tried to capture Killer Bee to gain a Bijuu to increase his power, but he seems to have forgotten about that.
Sasuke attacked the kages for...what? He claimed that he wanted to kill Danzo, but he spent all his time fighting everybody else instead.
He said he doesn't want Itachi's eyes. Then suddenly he does want them. He wants to find and kill Naruto, but then he wanted to find Itachi and NOW he wants to find Orochimaru instead.
Sasuke claimed he wanted to kill Madara for helping with the Uchiha massacre then he helped Tobi (who he thought WAS Madara) on several missions. Even now, he still doesn't act like he wants to kill Tobi OR Madara, even though he once said he was going to.
He put together his team of people, but then he abandoned Suigetsu and Juugo, and even tried to kill Karin himself. Why bother putting together a team at all if you're just going to abandon or kill them?
He claimed he wanted to kill Kabuto. But now Kabuto is defenseless and Sasuke isn't killing him. Why not? He's got a perfect opportunity to do it and it makes all the sense in the world.
The big problem with Sasuke, from the standpoint of character development, is that he has no clear motivations. He says one thing then does another. Everytime he talks to somebody he changes his mind and does something else. He's easy to manipulate, and the smarter, stronger enemies have been manipulating him for the entire manga. Sasuke's entire story is about him following paths that other people laid out for him until the very end when he suddenly jumps onto some other path, often in a stupid and violent way.
tl;dr: Sasuke is strong, yes. But he's stupid, selfish, easy to manipulate, has no clear goals or motivations, changes his mind and his goals every time somebody speaks to him. He wants revenge against the people who didn't hurt him (Naruto, the Leaf Village), and doesn't want revenge against the people who actually did (Tobi, Madara, Kabuto). He's a lousy character, even if some of his skills look sort of cool.
