Right..in the manga, Ulquiorra is supposed to prip off Ishida's hand.
In the episode he does'nt.
Now I wonder, if it was to be that much gore, howis it so that in the same episode it shows grimjow getting cut and spill gallions of blood, ulquiorra gets blown in half and what not.
The cencorship must end.
Gore is very much needed for our young and fruity souls.
Cencorring shit did 9/11 if you do not remember.
I wanted to see his arm off and bleed to death!
Why do only the bad guys get anygore towards them?
Its unfair that only people who can regenerate get limbs cut off.
Matsumoto's waist should also been destroyed by the chimera, but sure.
Like thats important, getting a piece of cloth ripped off surely is just as fatal.

It's because kids watch Bleach as well. If it focus more on the blood and the gore, then it would seize to be a shounen (sort of like a manga for boys, more battle scenes, ecchi scenes and whatnot) manga but rather a seinen manga (its mostly shrouded in mystery and has more blood and gore than your typical shounen manga). I agree that Bleach should have more gore, especially on the good guys since none of them HAVE died yet. (I'm still convinced that by some lame excuse, Hinamori is still alive) Gore affect both GOOD AND EVIL CHARACTERS!!!

Besides, it's not like 6-year-olds are watching this...maybe 12-year-olds and up, but since it's shonen, I'd suppose guys would like the blood and gore and whatnot.

I'm no blood and gore zealot, but the censorship is just stupid...almost hypocritical. They refuse to cut Ishida's hand off and only give him bruises, but in the same episode, Ulquiorra gets his whole arm cut off... -smh-

Well kids are mostly attracted to Bleach because, heck its an anime. And about the censorship, you're absolutely right. They should be consistent. It's either gore or no gore at all.

Still I prefer the gore-ness (Sigh... ever since 300, it has deluded my mind to violence O_O)

The point is that for some reason it just does'nt happen to the ''good guys''.
Episode after this one Ulquiorra gets half his body blown away.
I'm just pissed about how they make evil guys get chopped up without a cencor, bit if its vice versa they just change it to bruises and some torn of clothes.

Sure, the blood and gore add something to the Anime, but only to a certain extent. The Anime is not all about the gore - it's meant to be about the actual STORY of Bleach. If the gore is included in the Anime, it just visually distracts the observer from the rich story just below the surface. I argue that adding in the gore would subtract from the Anime rather than add to it.

If you want to see gore, go cut some mutants in half with a chainsaw rifle or something.

No, it just looks like a downgrade in power.
I'm sure Barragans ultimate rotting technique wil lalso be censored in some way, wich is wrong in my opinion.
Stick to the manga.
Its indeed not all about gore, I never said that, its about the fact good guys never get any gore towards them in the anime.
Do not that Ulquiorra WAS blown in half without censor, while something simple as removing ishida's hand was not censored.
Its ridiculous.

Still, if the show us that, they could also show ishida's hand chopped off.
Ulquiorra did'nt seem near as badass as Barragan is showing now, though I thought otherwise in the manga.
