Serious thread: Favorite villains

Before I'm going into detail, I'd like to point out I'm totally not interested in short posts that only state the name of the character. Also, I'd like to see members replying with villains spread out over different anime. For example, if there's a lot of people (in this case defined as 3 or more) replying with Naruto characters, please create some variation by adding a character from a different anime.

Having that cleared up, I'd like people to collect villains in this thread. For those unknowing of the definition of villain: A villain is an evil character that intends to cause harm to major communities. You could add a picture, a video, any media, as long as you include the name of the character and the anime it belongs to.

Favorite Villains:

Pein (before he converted to Naruto-ism, lol). He had serious issues and wasn't afraid to take them out on anyone/everyone in his path.

Ulquiorra. He's an evil character approaching the side of good. As he gains in power, he feels a heart growing inside of him and is torn by those feelings.

Light Yagami. He started out with good intentions but became twisted by his own power, becoming that which he sought to destroy.

Akira-The way in which he becomes the villian is intrigueing and akira is what got me into anime really.

 

[Caliburn]

Well one of my favourite manga series is called 'History's strongest disciple Kenichi', they also made an anime of the first 113 chapters.

I'm not going to tell the entire plot, but there's an evil gang called 'Ragnarok' and their eigth most strongest fighters are called 'The 8 fists'. And one of those eight is Natsu Tanimoto aka Hermit.

Most of these 8 fighters are awsome characters, because they all have some kind of weird habit that makes them hilarious. Hermit has the habit that he wants to win in everything because his sisters last words were 'don't lose' when she died.
But I need to mention that 6 of these 8 fighters become good guys during the series (while in the beginning they tried to kill the main character).
