I repeat the process by uplifting a new chunk of earth to work with. I use my chakra to mold the earth into a man-sized wall and then try to strengthen the wall. I use more chakra than the last time and evenly space it out through the wall. I step away from the wall and throw 5 kunai at it. The kunai again become lodged in the wall, though this time only a third of the way. But still not good enough.
I keep rebuilding my shield, trying to strengthen it the proper amount. With each attempt the wall grows stronger and more solid. Each time the kunai become less and less submersed in the wall.
Finally on my seventh attempt I throw the kunai and watch as the *clank* and bounce off the wall, not even leaving a scratch. I fall to one knee feeling exhausted, yet satisfied at the same time.
I did it Sensei, now what?
