I think his chidori only started turning black after he got ms. now im not 100% but maybe its black because he adds ameratsu?

It's only turned black twice; once at VotE1 when he first unleashed his CS2, and once against Juubidara. And of course, we have Darui's unexplained "Black Lightning," which does not appear to use either Senjutsu or (lol) Hagoromo chakra. So obviously black lightning can come about several ways.

The unfortunate result is that it further supports the common misreading among fans as to when Sasuke is using "Senjutsu" (Chakra mixed with Natural Energy, as with the Curse Mark) and when Sasuke is using "Rikudou Sennin Jutsu" (which translates to "Sage Jutsu" sometimes, hence the confusion). Basically, people assume that Sasuke using Hagoromo's chakra = Sasuke using Senjutsu (Natural Energy). This current thread is dangerously close to revisiting that same issue.

As for Sasuke's Chidori turning black as a result of Amaterasu, that simply isn't the case... adding Amaterasu (or rather, Kagutsuchi) to the Chidori simply adds black flames. He used it against Naruto for their final clash in VotE2, but never used it before then.

great response dude. ive always known that sasuke cant use sage jutsu on his own it was either the curse mark or rikudou sage jutsu. you def know your stuff I applaud you. thanks for the information I was a little hazy on wheat this thread was getting at anyways

The only jutsu that turns black with senjutsu is a lightning based jutsu...Every other jutsu stays same. Sasuke’s PS doesn't turn black

Only if it has Orochimaru curse seal and the reason for that its imperfect and un- train attempt to use Senjutsu. Orochimaru failed to become a Sage so He used a short cut by using Jugo’s clan body chemistry to created the curse seal with one big side effect insanity.

only lightening turns to black when it is used by chakra like the curse mark or rikudo chakra,Jin.Madara’s senpo lightening storm was also black ,but i wonder why rikudo sasuke used normal chidori at some points ,it was black only when he said he would add sage power to it ,does that mean when it is white it isnt used by rikudo chakra !!?

Not every jutsu turns black. It's only a Chidori specific phenomenon.
