Hashirama was trash in the first series and failed to beat an old Hiruzen in his best state together with his brother, this is just how Kishimoto kept Hashiramas level then, when it was said that he has been surpassed by Hiruzen. It doesn't make sense for Hashirama being killed by fodders if we take a look at his current power. Back then, with the power Hashirama showed against Hiruzen, he of course could have been killed by them and this is what the first databook hides, as its informations contains the first chapters.

also you know he was capable of amazing things conisdering the whole valley of the end... Madara and hashirama made that valley.. NO other ninjas in part 1 had skills capable of making such a rift.. that alone portrayed how strong the two parties were.....Just because kishi didnt invent his nice fancy flower world jutsu doesn't mean he didn't know hashirama would have landscape changing moukouton

The only thing we've learned new about hashirama is his medical skills lets be realistic.. since part 1 we knew he as of the senju clan a clan known for their mastery in nin,gen and tai, we know he had landscape changing abilties from valley of the end...we saw his A rank genjutsu, one of the only a rank genjutsu's displayed in the manga at that time..

Woaw it's great quote which i have seen so far. Ok, we have known that hashirama died in battle or something like that. I wish there is more details about it. Because i curious about hashramai who the one of the most powerful person in the series.
