The senju are just a plot device to outshine the uchiha when needed. Kishi never even went into detail on the clan. Heck the only known living senju is mixed with uzumaki so you would think she would be OP, but nope Tsunade is lackluster compared to her grandfather, granduncle, and the hype of the senju and uzumaki even >.>

Raikage didn't posess a bloodline trait straight from the sage himself, neither did Kisame. Besides, they were profound at only a few skills, Senju were profound in all. If you don't understand the concept of eyes and body, and the Senjus body being a KG as much as the Uchiha eyes, then the manga passed you by. Why did Kakashi have crap stamina with sharigan? Why did Uchiha that possesed MS have a limit to how much they could use it? Why did most Uchiha have crap stamina compared to Senju or Why did Madara choose someone from Senju bloodline to host his Rinnegan, than someone from his own clan?

this guy gotta point, though i think the superiority of the senju over the uchiha was really tiny, but i also think that senju were superior to uchiha in hashi´s time due to the fact hashi and tobi were stronger than madara and izuna, which means fodder uchiha and fodder senju are more or less the same, what made the difference were the strongest member of each clan

Did you not read the manga? *sigh* Senju is known as the clan of a thousand skills, Tsunade with healing, medical knowledge. Tobirama with water, Edo tensi, and teleportation, Hashirama with moukuton, healing, sealing etc. they excelled at ALL jutsu, not just a few. Uchiha represent the eye of the juubi, Senju represent the body. Eyes are meaningless without a body to host them. That's why it was always Senju>Uchiha.

So did you forget that the Uchiha excelled in all things battle related? This means both clan are even at a base level

Hash and tobirama solo any clan but only solo the Uchiha because they are forbidden to use inazagi

The Senjus most likely married off into other clans as Hashirama didn't want there to be barriers between clans but we see clans all sectioned off even when Tsunade was Hokage so only the Senjus probably followed Hashirama's way. Uchihas, Hyuuga, ect... All interbred and kept their secrets to themselves. That's why Naruto's kids don't have normal Hyuuga eyes.

Also in part 1 Sasuke said only a few Uchihas could awaken the Sharingan, maybe if they were battle born but most of them weren't in the times Itachi and Sasuke were kids. Nagato is an Uzumaki but was said to be of Senju lineage so Prime Nagato, Prime Naruto, Kushina, Mito (who had at least KM since she had the sensory ability Naruto gained in KM). Uzumaki is a clan that would have broken from the Senju clan years ago. Hyuuga would be decendants of Hamura since he had the Byakugan while both Uchihas and Senjus/Uzumakis both came from Hagoromo so they are related as well.

She can't beat Tobirama, he's on the level of Hashirama, Madara, and Izuna and a Edo Madara easily beat her and the 5 Kages without being serious; he called it child's play. Tobirama cutting Tsunade head off will kill her plus his water jutsu that cut the God tree branch can just cut her in half. Tobirama base speed is too fast for her to hit plus he have sensory ability abd FTG. He's also smarter than her in combat so what can she do to him when she can't hit him? He can use a shadow clone to mark her with his multiplying exploding tag plus his FTG mark as he did against Juubito who is much faster than Tsunade so Tsunade gets trapped in a constant explosion and if her Yin seal isn't activated then she dies.

Lackluster due to her low battle feats and relatively small arsenal.
