Seem's like obito's death is near!

My theory is that Spiral Zetsu will face Obito and take his eye, then give it to Madara.

It would make sense since we know nothing about Spiral Zetsu, and the whole relationship between Spiral Zetsu, Obito, and the Tobi identity have never been revealed. So it would be a good chance to show flashbacks or whatever.

But I'm sure Kishi won't just leave their relationship a mystery since we pretty much know it had a big part to play with Obito.

and Madara needs a way to unleash his full power in the final battle by gaining that eye.


Perhaps while Spiral Zetsu if fighting the SA, Obito comes back to help and Spiral Zetsu defeats him and has Black Zetsu send the eye to Madara.

I respectfully disagree. Obito has a lot of exposition and I doubt his story will just be ended like that in a single chapter, being Madara's lapdog power ***** and going out like this. He's living like Rin is watching, now. He's gonna phase out of Kamuiland, give Madara the finger, then go and save Killer Bee. Other reasons for his survival include:

1. The restoration of the Uchiha clan. It'll need more than just Sasuke because he's most likely impotent.
2. Kabuto and Obito have both become full fludged faces with Kabuto speaking of Obito pensively. They might do a Nagato 2.0 and revive everyone.
3. It'd be cool as hell to see Kakashi, Obito, Gai, Genma, and Ibiki just chill after the war. The 5 of them get some sake, play some cards, go to a gentlemen's club and stare at some titties, and bury the proverbial hatchet.
4. Obito is a tank. He's survived being crushed by boulders, point blank Rasengans from Naruto and Minato, Kyuubi Susano'o combo attack, Juubi extraction, and 10 million paper bomb. To have Madara just tear his eye out and be done would be... just wrong.

But, then again, his death is somewhat called for. I'll play this one like I did/am with Gai, I guess.

Yea, definitely is plausible for obito and spiral zetsu to have a conversation, i mean why would kishi introduce him this late in the story? he definitely has something to bring to the story.

Obito and his eye will be layed to rest in the kamui dimension. Obito will most likely die in the real world, kakashi will use his last kamui (his eyes are nearly blind) and kamui obito's body to the other dimension, leaving him to die there.

You could definitely be right, No doubt about that. It's kishi's call on whether he should die or not? Maybe he doesn't need to die? if kishi wanted to kill him off, he would of a awhile ago.

Some people theorized that obito will live and become hokage til Naruto is old enough to be one? that would also make sense tbh.

For me, i see it in two ways. Either obito dies or not, based on the manga so far, kishi has all the right tools to either let him live or kill him off.

Madara needs a power up and the only logical power up for him at this point is obito's rinnegan. Madara needs both to unleash it's full power to be able to fight Naruto and Sasuke.

Some people believe that obito will survive which cannot happen with his character. His character did a 360, it's finally time for him to die.

I honestly don't see Obito living after the war is over regardless. Only thing keeping Obito alive is the Black Zetsu and I doubt the villages will let his crimes go unpunished even if he redeemed himself.

That argument can also be made about Sasuke and Gaara (he was already forgiven). But nonetheless, i agree, he should die.
