Earlier on it was also said something to the effect that the moon was almost ready. To me this hints that the moon's eye plan might have already started activating and it may be how Obito survives this last attack, because he will survive... it's Obito, the dudes a zombie.

obito has clearly lost. a senjutsu combo of that effect is too much. even for him. i also think the fact that he and kakashi are connected maybe why he is envision such a skewed reality. he feels kakashi and the guilts of killing rin. which is the reason he lost and ultimately the reason he feels the dream he had mixing with kakashi and the dream he had. obito really sees the outcome of his dream had always been similiar, but how can you include someone in the dream knowing they are dead. his heart undersrstand the purpose. he would destroy hisreal dream which is right in front of his eyes.

As Naruto, or making the same decisions as Naruto? It definitely wasn't as Naruto because his peers, the people around him in the images, were of Kakashi's generation & tsunade's face wasn't on the hokage mountain
But you could be right if you meant he was imagining what it would have been like if he had made the decisions Naruto would have made if he were in Obito's shoes.
