second mizukage vs third raikage

who would win in an ultimate battle between the ninja who single handedly challenged a tailed beast (third raikage) and the ninja who humiliated the fourth division of the ninja war ( second mizukage).

Raikage has no way to beat the genjutsu, so he loses. The Mizukage will wear him down eventually... fan girl was able to scratch him, so Jouki boy will take him down sooner or later... or just water release attacks.

This is likely ending one of two ways;

Sandaime Raikage tanks everything the Nidaime throws at him and eventually outlasts. Even in an open field, simply thrashing around with Nukite variants will eventually yield success (in terms of locating and destroying the clam). I say he 'outlasts' or at bests earns a draw because physical attacks are completely useless in the face of the Mizukage's Suika no Jutsu (Hydration technique) and he lacks feats for his famed Black Lightning.

The scenario Joki already mentioned, which ends with Nidaime Mizukage using his Mizudeppō (Water Gun) through the 3rd's eye. Pew pew.

Implying the 3rd Raikage, with his immense speed can't dodge a water gun being aimed at his eyes. You want proof that the 3rd Raikage can't dodge that lol? Also you are underestimating his eyes or else the wind style users he was up against would have aimed at those eyes.

I give this to the 2nd Mizukage high difficulty since the 3rd Raikage has literally no way of actually ending the genjutsu so he will only waste chakra attacking the illusions. He won't be able to find the clam so he can't beat the 2nd Mizukage. On the other hand, the 2nd Mizukage can't really kill the 3rd Raikage but his infinite explosion technique will most likely wear the 3rd Raikage down. This comes down to a stamina battle which the 3rd Raikage wins in unless Joki Boy lasts forever which I doubt.

Could go either way high difficulty but it would be a long and cumbersome battle.

how is the third raikage gunna dodge the water pistol if he doesn't know where the real mizukage is shooting from.

Well why wouldn't he win? He dodges Water Gun, he will kill Mizukage before he uses Joki Boy. If Mizukage tries turning his ody to water, Raikage will electrify him and he will die. The Clam will be destroyed by One Finger also. Also why do you say it like that, it's not too far fetched

the third raikage isn't a sensory type and he doesn't know the mizukages secret, the mizukage uses illusions if the third raikage after lots of tries to kill the clam or the mizukage finds out their illusions, well its still hopeless cause he wont be able to sense where the real mizukage or clam are. secondly he cant dodge the water pistol if he doesn't know where the real mizukage is striking from.

well there are other methods to breaking an illusion? I mean im sure the raikage would have some kind of long ranged lighting attack that would hit the clam somehow? Im not saying ( anymore ) that the raikage would win but it is a possibility

a) Temari uses penetrating attacks and is strong against lightning. Joki Boy is more of a blunt/explosive attack so it will do a lot less.
I agree with b), so the 3rd Raikage can't win but he still puts up a good fight. Also you forget that the 3rd Raikage could still outlast the 2nd Mizukage.

I guess so but shooting the eyes but they are still likely to be durable lol.

Jouki boy is strong enough to dent Gaara's absolute defences... dunno if you remember them, but they're ridiculously tough. In addition, his water attacks can dent Gaara's absolute defence (not just seep into it, which it does after). Elemental affinity helps Temari of course, but nonetheless, it shows he can be hurt, and when you're getting explosions from Jouki boy repeatedly, that's going to add up... the clone never runs out of energy, while the 3rd Raikage does. There's basically no way for him to win this.
