Sealing Hidan?

Something just dawned on me when I was re-watching the kakazu and hidan fight versus kakashi and ino-sika-cho trio and its why didn't Shikamaru and Kakashi just seal Hidan?

I think it would make much more sense because in one of those 1000 jutsus Kakashi has to know at least one decent sealing jutsu....

Shikamaru had all the info on both of them after fighting them the first time to come up with a way to seal Hidan instead of bringing him to the forest....

The only good explanation is Kishi wanted some more juicy plot no jutsu so Shikamaru could throw Asuma's lighter into Hidan's pit of "death" other than that it would make more sense I think to just seal him....

Funjutsus that seal people have big risks like that the users die or something and its not that easy to slice hidans head when hes moving like that

the forest is technically (but not) a living sealing jutsu. he will never get out. plus human flesh rots. if he cant move, whats the point of living forever??

Yeah Hidan was one of my favorite bad guys.... just cause he was a *******.. so im hoping that he wasn't sealed so that he can be brought back....

hes not dead (so he cant become an Edo) he is rotting in the bottom of that hole and he will never die.....sucks for him

the only way he could come back is if someone finds the hole digs him up and puts him back together but shikamaru was the only person who knows where that hole is........

Hidan is immortal yes he can't be killed by conventional means ie; chopping off his head but he still needs to eat so he is down in that pit starving to death literally

i guess we will never know since kishi does not seem to know what immortal means.... multiple characters are said to be immortal in the manga.. yet... they keep dying.... Madara is supposed to be immortal with ems... but that didn't go well either... so who really knows how "immortal" Hidan really was... and we know that hidan had to complete his ritual to stay immortal... so its possible that since hes not able to do his ritual anymore he could not be immortal anymore.

Becuz most sealing justu needs preperation or a little bit of time.Why do you think in the war they have to wait until the edo are down to seal them..... becuz sealing jutsus arent meant for battle.
Ex.minato had to have kushina hold the kyubii down to give minato time to get the reaper death seal ready.

lolz so why did they ever create sealing jutsu's for? sealing jutsu's were meant to be use in battles so why not in wars? lolz does it makes sense...

What would be cool is if the alliance brings back hiden and make a deal with him...... To fight for them and he well be given anything :s as weired as that sounds

Hidan's immortality came from completing the ritual regularly. as he can't do that anymore, i'm assuming he's lost it and died now. Shikamaru sure is ruthless :O
