Unfortunately I suffer a sleep paralysis attack every night. You can get a medicine called xylem they prescribe to help though. Have you ever hallucinated during your sleep paralysis? I have.

When you fall asleep you body parts are usually in rest except vital organs like heart etc.
When you get interrupted from a REM sleep suddenly your unable to move your body for a while due to it.

It is indeed scary when you experience it.

That fear is all in your head. I've had sleep paralysis before and the best way to get past it is to remain calm.

Don't try to move, don't freak out at the fact that you can't move, calm your breathing, and close your eyes. You'll be completely asleep in no time.

I was playing inside with some toys when I heard the storm siren go off. My dad ran outside to see what was going on and came back in looking why does it goes I happened to look outside my window and all I saw was midnight even though it was 12 o'clock. My dad huddle my brother myself and my mom into a corner plumbing the couch with him putting pillows on top of us in between my door and my brothers door with the bathroom behind us and started praying to God that we are safe. The house started shaking violently and it sounded like we were right underneath a locomotive. All the glass in the house broke all the lights went out everything was flying and there's trees flying everywhere. Didn't exactly know what was happening because I was only 5 the time but I know it was bad. Then my head began to her and I blacked out I woke up two hours later laying on half of the couch my ears hurt very badly want to touch them I had some crested blood on them. My house has been pulled apart at the foundation from the force of the F4 tornado winds and a 100 year old oak tree crushed my parents bedroom. My whole family was okay but the estimated Darren show that night for the whole state was $200 million and was declared a disaster area by the president of United States. It was the single most terrifying experience of my life.
