How? What if that person really meant it? How would it be "meaningless"?What if that person couldn't show it good because they were in a long distance relationship?

Because it loses value if u actually say it 20 times a day. Actions speak louder than words, if you mean it prove it, stating it more than once doesn't have the same effect as it does the first time, you must say it limitedly while actually proving it to the point where u don't need to overuse it
Yea I know but what about people in long distance relationships?Because it loses value if u actually say it 20 times a day. I'm in a long distance relationship and I say it a lot.
Eh, we both do. We don't have a problem with it and it doesn't necessarily lose it's potency because we both know the feeling is there.
I disagree; love is about how much you can give, not how much you can take. True love, that is. However, with a lot of people, there is merit to this post.Supply and demand. Say it too much and it is no longer a rare commodity. Say it at the end of every text or something and it becomes a formality. Value goes down, therefore they stop desiring it.
Love is always about leaving the other wanting. People don't love each other without wanting something. Devaluing a phrase that has such emotional pull when its value is high, is unwise if you want them to stay. (or in other words, if you want them to "want.")
Regardless I personally don't take much stock into words anyways.
Like Crossroads here. It's not the words that matter per se, it's in how you say them and the feeling behind it.I'm in a long distance relationship and I say it a lot.
