As my chakra interacts with the rain and 'fuses' with it, I then use the knowledge gained from prior training; I use shape manipulation to convert the shape of the rain into that of a spear, I follow it up by giving the rain a 'solid' state, this is done through chakra manipulation. The spear-like rain drop descends towards the clone, the speed in which it descends is quite fast, that is due to gravity taking its effect.

Nope, you're getting ahead of yourself. To create a spear like you described you would need to merge rain drops together. What we're doing right now is just manipulating each rain drop into shapes. So do it again but make the rain drops into needles.

The needle shaped rain drops descend towards the ground, and due to their 'pointy head' they would gain a speed boost due to them being aerodynamic.

Those are techniques which use the same principle you just learned. They manipulate the physical structure and properties of individual rain drops through chakra.

I think it means a circle 20 meters in diameter, which would make it 10 meters from the user in each direction. That should put it at mid-range.

Well a few can pop inti mind, the first is to cause the rain come down in such a heavy manner in a specified area that the opponent is in, that will successfully blocking their view. The second is the technique that the user manipulates the falling rain around himself, this will lead to the rain concealing the users presence. Another would be rain clones, I know of falling rain clones, and cloud rain clones, maybe a clone created from rain can be used as well. Also something from KHR, I believe that there are some techniques that mimic the users movements though rain, they can be used as a tactical adavantage.

Gathering chakra in my body, I direct a portion of said chakra towards the rain drops, as my chakra comes into contact with the drops of rain, I manipulate it, the manipulation is similar to how the light is reflected around a users body in a certain ninjutsu technique, however here, it was done on the rain drops, I manipulated how the rain reflected light, I exploited refraction and reflection to create a image if myself 5 meters to my left, this would prevent you from perceiving my real location
I refocus my chakra into the falling rain, once my chakra merges with said rain, I begin to manipulate it, the manipulation occurs on the level of the rain, with the usage of chakra I unbalance an aspect ratio, with that unbalance the rain drops become invisible, the reason of this is because I manipulated my chakra in a manner that light is reflected. With that process the rain drops gain their invisibility.
As the clones are created I exploit the fact that I can sense them, the first thing I do is lower myself minimizing the chances of me getting detected by your clones, for the first two clones I begin a devilish plan, I cause images to appear in front of your clones, the images are of my back, though continuos manipulation of the rain I cause the images to appear to be moving, after a while the images would lead to each other, and just before the two clones meet each other the images take a different shape, they would appear to face the clones with a gruesome look, the clones knowing that they are facing an enemy would most likely charge and attempt to kill the enemy, this would lead to the clones attacking each other, thus causing them to disperse.
As for the third clone I swiftly go to a position that intercepts the cloens trajectory, once their I manipulate the rain around me, it is manipulated in a way that my position would be concealed, as the clone nears me, I perform a slash with a kunia on the clones neck, the clone would only see my position when I slash, so he won't have time to counter, this would lead to him dispersing.

Yes, the rain clone technique & variants, they sau short range, does it mean it is created short range with a short range 'reach', or is it created short range with any range 'reach'. Other than that no questions, and I really like the 100 clone technique.
So, ice is formed from water and wind, the water is the base element, wind acts as a secondary one which induces a reaction from it, the wind would rotate and spin around the water and decrease it's temperature, it is decreased to the extent that it reaches ir freezing point, once that happens well the water freezes. Now since the rain is inside the cloud of high altitude, then it is natural that the temperature would be low, and once the rain drop falls, it's movement in such a cold environment would lead it freezing, thus creating ice.
