A lot of people do not consider Sasuke's sword to be a helpful tool in battles and dismiss it in versus threads. Here's some manga proof to re-evaluate the sword's power...
We saw when he used it against Yamato it cut Yamato's kunai in half...Sai, however, was able to stop an attack by grabbing Sasuke's wrist. When Yamato tried blocking the sword itself, he was unsucessful and it resulted in Yamato being injured.
Apparently, his sword cannot be blocked when he channels chidori through it, and the blade becomes sharper.
Being hit with it paralyzes the opponent, too. So if you get hit, you're pretty much done for because you won't be able to move...And of course, nothing can stop the sword without stopping Sasuke's hand movements.
The sword is also considerably long, so it gives him a good range.
Well, what do you people think?
Should it be considered useful in versus threads?
