(2) The Anime, which he no doubt has influence on, just decides to make it purple? Lol.
Kishimoto has obviously since then allowed it to be purple since it hasn't changed.
There is so much added garbage into the anime that you cant even take it as a credible source.
Kurama breathes fire in the anime & pein can tank boulders with his head...
Madara in the recent 322 was spamming fireballs onto the battlefield, does that mean he can do it canonically? Not in the slightest.
Itachi's susanoo is golden in the manga, sasuke's is blue (hence karin calling it "cold") & as the OP mentioned it also has six fingers, to deny the color of susanoo based on anime depictions means that you accept all of these other "pserdo" facts to be true.
There's a bunch more things in the anime that isnt depicted in the manga, your logic suggests that they are all canon.

They influence the story in no way whatsoever. They arn't even events from the story.
Now if Kishi took an actual panel and colored it that, I would believe it.
Until then, the Anime, which takes inspiration from Kishi, is the true color interpretation of the manga.

Kishi only has full control over manga not anime....he doesn't decide EVERY LITTLE thing on anime since he doesn't animate while he draws the covers and also colors them i think

Anime creators make it red, but Kishimoto decides that its yellow.
Dude stop failing, they dont call kishi who is busy writing his own manga with such trivial questions such as "hey, what color is sasuke's susanoo?"
Did the animators go "hey does kurama breath fire?" or "hey can madara spam fireballs?" Of course not, they dont go to kishi with every little detail so he can micromanage that while working on his own stuff.
Animator's add stuff all the time, stop saying that kishi has full control over what they do, or decides what they should put in.
I'm sorry, but this just doesn't make sense. Something such as color, is clearly something that they would ask about.
They don't have free reign. Making Tobi's mask yellow wouldn't have flied, obviously.
