Madara in the recent 322 was spamming fireballs onto the battlefield, does that mean he can do it canonically? Not in the slightest.

Itachi's susanoo is golden in the manga, sasuke's is blue (hence karin calling it "cold") & as the OP mentioned it also has six fingers, to deny the color of susanoo based on anime depictions means that you accept all of these other "pserdo" facts to be true.

There's a bunch more things in the anime that isnt depicted in the manga, your logic suggests that they are all canon.

No, he doesn't have any involvement with the anime. They also decided to color Raikage's chakra as generic blue, when it's actually yellow-orange. Naruto's Rasengan is yellow as well, but they always color it blue because they don't care about matching the source material.

Now if Kishi took an actual panel and colored it that, I would believe it.

Kishi only has full control over manga not anime....he doesn't decide EVERY LITTLE thing on anime since he doesn't animate while he draws the covers and also colors them i think
