Sasuke's Rinnegan

Sasuke's Rinnegan can't deactivate. In the manga it is always turned on. He got the Rinnegan from Hagoromo and borrowed eye powers cannot deactivate. Kakashi can't deactivate his Sharingan, Nagato can't deactivate his Rinnegan etc, even alive Maddy old version wasn't able to deactivate his.

Madara's body was modified by Kabuto so it makes sense if he was able to do it as an Edo.

Sausage already deactivated his rinnegan. But nice try!

Real Rinnegan can't be deactivated. Edo Madara was also summoned with 3T, activated MS and then Rinnegan, but he never switched back to Sharingan after that. Raikage was caught in genjutsu by a clone, not real Madara. Also we will never know, but Madara could made few clones with EMS, just for genjutsu purposes.


What happens when you don't have enough chakra for your doujutsu? It simply goes off right? But this doesn't count for Rinnegan cuz you can't deactivate it, so the only thing you can do is close your eye and not use it.

Kakashi can't deactivate his Sharingan not because it's borrowed, but because he's not Uchiha and doesn't have ability to do so, but he also keeps his eye closed behind headband

It cant go off just like the Byakugan, and the reason he was capable of switching from Sharingan to Rinnegan is because he was an Edo modified by Kabuto, the body and chakra restrictions were practically non-existent for him, another reason is the fact his Rinnegan weren't "real" like the one Obito possessed.

I don't get how his Rinnegan weren't real. He was able to use Rinnegan jutsu.

Weren't real cuz he was an edo tensei corpse, so once he got revived they disappeared cuz his real eyes were in Obito's

No for a Rinnegan you need Indra's chakra to mix in with the Ashura's chakra. Hagoromo need not interfere. Rinnegan can't deactivate period, it's pretty simple.

Borrowed powers has no limitation to potential as Nagato demonstrated great use of Madara's eyes, but the reason why he wasn't able to compete was because he wasn't a transmigrant like Madara or Sasuke who had great amounts of chakra.

Hashirama still had Ashura's chakra with him even through he wasn't a reincarnation anymore. That was made clear when he touches Madara's lower half and Hagoromo came out. And also I said a borrowed and unlocked Rinnegan can't be deactivated in general.

It was said if the real owner have his eyes the true power would be unleashed. Nagato was only able to use six paths. Madara and Sasuke used 1/2 techniques to KO the Bijuu's.

Himawari isn't a pure Hyuga though, her eye is most likely a derivation of the Byakugan like the Sharingan is to the Rinnegan. For all we know it grants different abilities besides insight :eww:

The Rinnegan cannot be deactivated. What Madara had, was a fake Rinnegan. He also couldn't revert back to any Sharingan form once he activated it. Once activated, Rinnegan is the dominant Doujutsu.

Not really, she can still have the Byakugan's insight but maybe lose the ability to use Gentle Fist, Hinata has Hamura's chakra and Naruto has Hagoromo's, for all we know the two mixed amongst their children and granted them abilities we've never seen, possibly even feats that derive from Kaguya like how Sharingan derives from RinneSharingan.

He wasn't able to use Outer Path or Limbo and even his Preta was weak to the point he said Naruto's RS was too much to absorb. Edo allows you to use the jutsu based on the chakra the person has, but it also removes any restrictions a living body would have.

When alive Madara wouldn't have been able to use Sharingan when possessing both Rinnegan because Hagoromo's KKG doesn't grant Sharingan abilities.

Madara would have lost Indra's chakra because it evolved into the Sage's, like how Pikachu would have lost his abilities if he evolved into Raichu. But because he wasn't a living body those restrictions didn't apply to him.

Only an original user who awakened the rinnegan can deactivate the doujutsu. Madara can deactivate the rinnegan as he is the original user of the doujutsu, below scan Madara's rinnegan is deactivated.

Although Sasuke can use the left eye to it's full power, he was not the one who awakened the rinnegan but was given the rinnegan(not the sharingan) by Hagoromo. The reason Sasuke can use the rinnegan to it's full power is because Hagoromo mixed the rinnegan with Sasuke sharingan creating a single doujutsu which gives Sasuke full access to his left eye(rinnegan).

If Sasuke awakened the rinnegan he'd be capable of deactivating the rinnegan, Manga shows he can't.

If Sasuke awakened the rinnegan he would be capable of deactivating his own doujutsu when he's low on chakra, Manga shows Sasuke needs to close his left eye when he's low on chakra.
