I feel like I still see Sasuke hate. But the hate has decreased, Sasuke has answered the prayers of not only his fans but people who were never fans before. Sasuke-kun's popularity has grown because Sasuke brings the plot the fans desire, while Naruto does not always do the same and can be redundant at times. His growth in popularity was bound to happen, he is Sasuke after all
