I think a fight between Naruto and Sasuke needs to happen first.

Yeah, I kinda think he's going to die.
But in a good way, because the whole point of the manga now is to get Sasuke back. (Well, that's the main plot at least.) So either, yeah they'll fight an enemy together and he'll die protecting either Naruto or Sakura. Most likely Naruto, though. Then I think Sakura will try to heal him, but it'll be too late.

I think Kishi here is showing us that Sasuke is a loner even though he belongs to a group. He was like this since his whole clan were murdered. Unlike Naruto, his desire to gain power is for personal satisfaction (ex. to kill his brother, to wipe out konoha). Naruto on the other hand, uses what he learns to save his friends and village - those important to him.

Sasuke is considered a genius for showing good ninja qualities at an early age. Of course, compared to his brother he is still lame.

Also, Kishi maybe is hinting that Sasuke has another trump card hidden in his sleeves that he will use in the course of the fight. So he feels confident not needing help.

I'm not a sasuke hater nor lover, I only see facts from the manga.

Sasuke showing up with chidori at the chunnin: spent 2-3 months training with kakashi. We even see gaara "spying" on them while training.

Sasuke being powered up with Oro: He spent 3 years training with one of the legendary sannin (but in opposite to J-man, Oro is obsess with jutsu, so of course sasuke was to learn a lot of technique). Again we can see in the manga that sasuke add his daily training session with Oro (I can find many source if u want).

Please, post here where it is stated that his darker chakra makes him stronger. I am very interested in that statements of urs.

Well there was an incredible difference in power compared to Sasuke and Naruto when they met after the timeskip, I don't think it would have been a fight more like a slaughterhouse if they continued on fighting. Naruto didn't learn much I guess that's true - just grew up basically imo. I think alot of characters grew more than Naruto... like Sakura who got a different attitude and Kakashi who got a stronger Sharingan.

But I also think that the reader has to find out how this character grows and learns things instead of making him have different techniques all of a sudden after some years of training, like Sasuke. I guess that's what makes the story called Naruto and not Konoha Cronicles or something.

About Kishi overdoing, he's overdoing half the plot by now. If he wants Sasuke to just be bad, he should have left out the "Team 7 flashback" from the fight against Killerbee. And it's ridiculous for MAdara to just go and talk to Naruto when he actually wants to have him and take the 9-tails out from him.

You are absolutely right about the unfair difference in power. The problem is that Naruto was training like normal ninja would and Sasuke was given drugs to accelerate his training.
