No. It's just his anger and hate for the world manipulating him. It is just symbolic for the idea that he is still getting stronger and can still match Naruto. Everyone is saying how Sasuke lost Orochimaru's power and his curse seal and is weak now, while Naruto has beat Pein and gotten Sage Mode. Everyone thinks Naruto is way better than Sasuke, but Sasuke is still getting stronger too.

what he wants to try is somethin we may be ignoring...amaterasu was IMPLANTED but every single mangekyo sharingan must have a unique ability. Itachi tsukuyomi/amaterasu/susanoo, kakashi/obito's kamui. Madara's true power lies hidden his teleport may be inzuno's ability may be telepoerting. Danzo has the ability to control minds. every single sharingan has a special ability.
