He thinks he's the only one out there whose parents were killed. Give me a break, look at Naruto, his parents were killed by Madara/Tobi and he doesn't go on a rampage about it. Then again Naruto has self-control unlike Sasuke....

Naruto didn't even know his parents, smh... and was a baby when they died. It's totally different.

What sasuke is feeling is greater than what naruto, kabuto and shikmaaru felt when they lost their teacher. People forget that kabuto, shikamaru and naruto wanted revenge for their teacher, just a teacher. Sasuke wants revenge for his brother, that holds more.

Sasuke's situations is realistic and is not fantasy. He kinda reminds of a crime case where some guy killed some people responsible for the murder of his family in a family picnic probably they were a group of known thugs who did it to them.to cut things short they told the guy to let the police handle the case but we all know the human emotion.before the cops could get to the thugs to get them they were killed by the guy who later escaped to another country. lets take a look at somethings.the elders are the ones who sent itachi to do their cruel, unauthorised and dirty mission and the son of a b****** (danzou) was the spearhead of this who took advantage of the genoicide to get their power in order to control the nine tails for himself. The village discriminated against them for the nine-tails rampage which was totally not their fault and i'm sure that when the uchihas were murdered they didn't do any serious investigation. So now that sasuke has found out the truth he doesn'tgive a damn about anyone anymore. Sadly he is taking the law ito his hands.

Well nobody else in manga didnt want the a whole village dead (except Nagato, who died trying trying to redeem himself for his sins):

1. Shikamaru wanted to kill hidan only but didnt try killing each and all of jashin followers.
2. Naruto wanted revenge for jirya but let it go.
3. Gaara was hated by everyone and attacked by his own family, yet he died trying to save his village.
etc

Also uchiha clan was bot innocents, and only Elders and the ROOT deserves death. Or else show that Ramen guy, asuma's child, konohamaru etc all wanted every uchiha dead.

So his hit list should be limited to the advisors. In addition Tobi killed the clan as well, but Sasuke isn't trying to kill Tobi. In fact he's partnered with Tobi so he can take out a village that is primarily innocent. Not to mention how many families he might have stomped out, and how many lives he's ruined(like breaking that kids arms during the chuunin exam, or killing Danzo, his attempt to capture and help kill Bee, tried to kill Karin and Sakura though they have people who may love them). However Shikamaru was still serving in his capacity of soldier when he killed Hidan and got his revenge.
So to sum it up

1. Sasuke has no right to complain as losing people you love is a part of the shinobi job
2. He's killed and tried to kill people leaving others with the same pain he feels

Fine then, but you all forget. even if the village knew about the truth as dumb as they are to stay in the way of sasuke while they will try to protect the elders because much as they will be shocked to hear this they won't allow him to kill the elders . The law of revenge is simple. let those who are guilty be severly dealt with and they shouldn't be spared and if anyone tries to stand in your way to defend the culprits whether friend or foe they should also be crushed. That is the gospel truth of revenge.the reasonwhy i'm saying that the village is part. is that they discriminated against the uchihas for the nine tails rampage which was totally not their fault. Secondly why didn't they do any serious investigation for the uchihas genoicide. When Jirayia died by the akatsuki, they did everything they could to unravel the mystery of his attackers. why they didn't do the same in the past for the uchihas.if they were serious at least sasuke won't be that willing to leave the villae in the first place. 3. Many innocent civilian might have died due to cross fire or their livelihood destroyed.
4. To stop other clans from rising against them, uchiha wld have to take the clan leaders or their children hostage or kill them.
5. After the coup there wld be ppl who disagrees, who wld be need to be killed or imprisoned.
6. Hizune wld have to be killed.
7. THIS IS MOST DEADLY: Due to civil unrest and the weakened millitary forces, konoha wld be open for attack by other countries, who are always just waiting for a chance for a attack. This would mean destruction of konoha and annexation of land of fire. Imagine how many people wld be killed.

ok you are finally convincing me.besides one of my friends gave a good point even though it sounded a bit silly. you remember that itachi entrusted the uchiha to him and if he is gonna recreate the clan i guess he will need a lady like sakura to be his life parthner in order to create the clan. but if destroys sakura along with everyone else. how is he going to rebuild his clan.
