its funny, i see everyone talking about the poor innocents of konoha. how they had nothing to do with anything. but what about the little kids that were probably killed in the uchiha massacre. what about that old lady that was sweeping the floor. i havent heard anyone say a word about them.

I already answered this if they hadnt killed them they would be doing exactly what sasuke is doing now seeking answers and revenge

There is no law that states you have to be a shinobi or join the anbu etc ... itachi signed up , which meant he was prepared and knew full well that decision like that come in the field of being a shinobi

If I murdered your family how would you feel...yea Sasuke a shinobi but he was also a little boy who was just gaining what he desired most and that was the respect of his father and for the leaf village to be so ****ing weak as to not being able to do the shit themselves you send in Itachi who at the time was only 13 where was kakashi, Danzo, Gai, and so forth they higher ups knew their shinobi. Sucked and couldnt deal with the most feared clan of all...and for it to have fallen on Itachi shoulders to murder his family, friends even his lover destroyed him all for the sake of the unappreciative leaf village...that's why Sasuke wants to destroy them just so they can sample his pain and torture that he had to endure

but yeah, you forget that sasuke witnessed all that before he was ever a shinobi, his whole drive to become a ninja was to kill itachi, not to "serve his village" or anything. lol being a shinobi and being a soldier arent anything alike, just like being an anime character and being a real person are different.

the difference is the way they did it. Also in the real world there aren't that many soldiers if you think about it. In the ninja world a ton of people are ninjas. I understand your point though. Also in the ninja world those who get hurt become strong and those who become strong feel the most pain. Name one strong person who had a good life other than someone from the senju clan.

let's all give sasuke a break ok.i agree with you that on the fact that it is time for sasuke to leave the path of revenge and become a good guy.there are some reasons why sasuke is still on the path of revenge and is still planning to destroy the leaf.take a look at these.
1.the poor guy has no family anymore.almost all his former friends in the konoha village have their families which have been saved at the cost of sasuke's own family and clan
shikimaru has a dad who teaches strategies and he has a mom

Kiba has his mum which is ok for him

Neji has his uncle and aunt who are hinata's parents and he even has his clan in one piece that he can rely on.

rock lee has guy sensei who is like an elder brother or father to him

Shino has his father and also his clan

Sakura has her parents who we haven't seen yet

Tenten also might have her parents (not verified)

Ino has her father

Chouji has his dad and mum and many others

(for sai his brother died from a disease so that doesn't count, naruto case is unnecessary because his parents were killed by the kyuubi and not madara)

But Sasuke doesn't have a family or a clan anymore. he has no father or mother anymore not even an uncle or aunt and even his elder brother who he loved so much is leaving again. meaning that he willl alone again. He simply can't forgive the leaf because of the huge emotional pain he still has for losing his family and clan after he witnessed their 3rd degree murder by itachi

2.Sasuke believes that he has nothing to lose anymore in life and that there is no hope for him. So he has resorted to revenge just to as a relief for himself

3.he is after the leaf because of their ignorance of what itachi just did for them. Since people are saying out of ignorance that itachi is a traitor and a coldhearted murdrer pisses him of since he and a few people know the truth about itach so he wants to get revenge

In short naruto has to convince him that there is still hope for him in life and that he has to leave the path of revenge. Besides even though it might not be easy to accept him but once the truth of itach and the clan's genoicide is out then people will see why sasuke was after them and the danger that could have befallen them if he continued and succeeded.

He remember all the good times with itachi and knows it wasnt his fault. It would make sense if he went after the elders and naruto becuase the elders did it and naruto is his last bond. Naruto is the only thing he has from his old life that i think he still cares about and doesnt want too.

Two things. One, when Sasuke lost his family and began down his path, he wasn't an actual ninja yet. And obviously Sasuke isn't much of a soldier seeing as he was willing to desert the force.

And two, you do realize that there are people in real life, who are willing to kill dozens of innocent people just because they've lost a family member or two. I'm not justifying Sasuke's actions, but at least he's doing it because his family was killed on purpose.
