Seems weird with it only needing objects, since he never switched an object when he attacked kaguya (the 2nd time) or when he attacked Naruto. Unless he can switch with molecules or something. Some other times I will attribute to debris that I saw, but other times it didn't seem to be anything near him.

As we know, Sasukes shifting ability has cooldown. He used it to swap him and Naruto so he couldn't use his shifting ability at that point. Now just stop being stupid ok?

Nah, there are definitely times where Sasuke seemed like he switched with nothing. Multiple times. Just goes to show that the databook should be taken lightly. Iksokirps posted a thread earlier that also had Kaguya's origin, which is pretty interesting if you haven't seen it already.

Maybe kishi didn't feel like having to emphasize something so petty, given the time constraints and limited number of pages at his disposal, it's be a waste of panels just to show whatever objects he switches with, every single time he uses the jutsu.

Looks like the databooks are still crap as always. This doesn't even mention how Sasuke teleported Madara and Kaguya inbetween him and Naruto, and how he impaled Madara with his sword. Does his technique just make the object appear inside the target's body, does it get innertion somehow, what?

Also, it fails to mention anything about a cooldown at all. The distance is described as "certain range", lol. On top of all this, it only mentions objects as swappable, even though Sasuke has warped without the apparent need of one, so unless air molecules are also counted as objects, this description couldn't be more generalized.

2. Sasuke swapping/summoning kaguya/madara not explained at all.
