If we think about it then it's possible as third Hokage give his word to Itachi that he'll protect Sasuke from threats like Danzo so this mean Itachi don't need to come to the village to see his brother and Sasuke might not have gotten as jealous of Naruto as he was and he could have told others about the offer he get from Orochimaru and village takes action against Orochimaru and after that Sasuke goes to get training from kakashi for three years
