Sasuke's eyes

Hi there . You seem to have missed my point, I believe that Sasuke had the transplant done under the impression that he was receiving Itachi's Eyes. But Madara tricked him and inplanted the Rinnegan instead.

Well, we don't know for sure whether or not you can actually tell the difference between eyes in the Narutoverse... I mean, Madara could have transplanted eyes from some random hobo into sasuke, and since Sasuke thought they were Itachi's eyes as he had requested, he made that comment "I feel itachi's power flowing through me." when he actually felt nothing... The phrase was used for more dramatic purposes more than anything else.



It is possible that Madara has plans for Sasuke's EMS, but I would think that he would rather have the origination of both the Sharingan and The Rinnegan (as pictured in the drawing of the Juubi), Having the powers of both, and perhaps some new ones on top of that.



That was the whole point of my theory lol.

which brings me to a part of my original theory that got deleted before I could post it: I believe that Itachi intentionally abused his Sharingan in his match vs. Sasuke for the sole purpose of going blind. He accomplished this, and therefore I think his eyes are useless..

It is my understanding that the purpose of transplanting a mangekyou sharingan was to obtain "new light". Now, how can there be New Light if the eyes being transplanted are already blind? Sasuke Exchanging his own blind eyes for Itachi's blind eyes= new vision? doesnt make sense... 2 wrongs= right? I don't think so.

Plus, I don't think that Madara saying this:

so shortly before transplanting "Itachi's" eyes into Sasuke is a coincidence..

If you did that, then your original post would read: that would be hilarious, is if madara told sasuke he was implanting itachi's eyes and he planted nagato's LOL.

Playing off not reading the theory as a mixup of words just to get more posts w/o it seeming like you're spamming is annoying. Failing at doing so is even worse.

Contribute something to the thread, or please don't post.

okay, i misread the your theory at first.. but i did read it.. when i read it for some reason, i was under the impression that you wrote that madara would implant the rinnegan on himself..

my last post however was me trying to undo my first post without really reading what i had initially written.. it was a fail on my part, I'll admit to that..

as for spamming.. i never spam.. I've been here since Feb of 09 and have like 300 something posts.. i could care less about getting a high post count..

2: Gedo Mazo goes dormant without Nagato

While Pain set off to capture Kyubi, Madara/Tobi, Zetsu and Kisame were in the process of extracting 8-Tails from KB. So, i don't see why Gedo Mazo goes dormant without Nagato. Madara/Tobi is likely the one who summoned Gedo Mazo(other than Nagato). That means, he didn't really rely on Nagato. He needs Nagato to resurrect him(in case he dies).

Right from the time when Sasuke overtook Orochimaru, Madara had planned about Sasuke. He even studied him during his fight with Deidara. The moment he heard Itachi death, Madara rushed to the scene to take his corpse(ie Itachi's eyes). After Sasuke got MS, Madara sent him on a mission so that Sasuke will repeatedly use his eyes and goes blind(His trick and Sasuke's motives were the trigger). Madara wanted to implant Itachi's eyes as quickly as possible to implement his plan(ie sync with Gedo Mazo, although without Rinnegan, he could summon Gedo Mazo). So, Madara needs someone really strong to do be in sync with Gedo Mazo, besides an ally in the coming war. He had saved Itachi's eyes for this, now that Sasuke had overused his MS. So, i don't see any reason why Madara would implant other Sharingan in Sasuke, it has to be only Itachi's. Otherwise, what's the need of getting Itachi's eyes?

Well, think about it for a second, would you complain if you received something that was better than you had asked for? say you ask for a 19 inch widescreen computer monitor, and you recieve a 24 inch... would you complain? I think not .

Very interesting theory and I especially like what you said about Itachi's eyes now being useless regardless of them being transplanted but I have to disagree on the above statement. I don't think that Sasuke would care if the Rinnegan was more powerful as he would not have that connection with his brother and Madara would have completely disrespected him in the process.

Well you know, unless Madara promised to give him Itachi's eyes at a later point, after obtaining what he needed from Sasuke and the Rinnegan. That might save him from a pissed off Sasuke whether or not he would follow through with it or not...considering Sasuke is such a tool and all.
