sasuke's eye transplant recovery time

i dont understand why sasuke waited so long with his eye in bandages after he had transplanted itachi's eyes..madara transplanted the rinnegan and there wasnt much recovery time..could someone explain??

I'm guessing since the eyes had to fuse and make a new sharingan shape and plus Sasuke's body had to adjust to the new Mangekyo according to Madara.

Honestly dude I don't know, but if I had to guess I would have to say the fact that he is an Uchiha and he has Hashirama's cells would make him perfectly suitable to handle the rinnegan.

there wasn't anything to adjust on ''madaras'' rinnegan because he is just controlling it with his chackra just like kakashi did.
kakashi didn't needed to wait for those adjustments U_U

madara can heal a lot faster coz of hashiramas cells. hashiramas cells cuts time down for basically anything. danzo needed it also for shisui's eyes so instead or shisuis genjutsu reactivating in 10years, it will only be a couple of ours for him. hashiramas cells is the key to everything.
