Sasukes eye isn't Rinnegan

Its obviously not a rinnegan, as it has tomoes. The SO6P stated his mothers 3rd eye was a "sharingan", and sasuke has the same eye, just with less tomoes.

why kaguya's eye is sharingan and sasuke's is rinnegan?
because the color is different. sasuke's eye is purple like the other rinnegan but kaguya's is red.
