Yet there is a perfect chance to destroy konoha, and he passes it up to ask some questions. His hate has grown for sure, but his love for itachis sacrifice, has grown to balance that out. Now he wants to find out if what itachi did, really meant anything, or if he should give in to his selfish desires.

I think the only reason why he won't turn good is that people expect him to turn good. Usually, Kishi doesn't make expected things happen. What I believe is that the war arc will eventually end with him even helping by letting the kage go to the battlefield. After the war he will most likely stay evil no matter what. He might change abit and become more neutral but I do not believe he will go back to Konoha eating ramen with Naruto. That would be as unlikely and stupid as Obito coming back to Konoha living there with Kakashi. Seriously no. Then I'd prefer the everybody dies-ending.

I don't think after all this revenge and finally knowing the reason's why Itachi took such a mission to destroy his clan he would go against his brother's wishes. Whatever the 1st Hokage reveals to him will have a impact on him and redirect his hatered towards the true enemy. Besides it would be pointless if gets all this info jus to battle the 4 Kages in a battle that he can clearly lose it all regardless what anyone thinks of Oro's hold on the Kages may be one that will break it would be the 1 st and we have been a witness to it. 1st Hokage is enough to finish all of the Taka squad.

Before Orochimaru took Sasuke to see the Hokages, he said he was still interested in his body, and he seems to know the real reason Orochimaru is against Konoha. Chances are he might just give up his body.
