Sasuke's Choice: He's Not Turning Good. Ever.

Recently it came to my attention that Sasuke will most likely remain evil. The main reason is this: Sasuke's hatred has been building literally for the entire series, and it's all going to go away after a chit chat with 4 dead dudes? Sorry, but no.

Sasuke may, and probably will, redirect his hatred against something other than the village (I'll have a theory for this later today). But just because he doesn't destroy Konoha doesn't mean he's good, not by a long shot. All that pent up hatred will be unleashed upon something new, most likely Obito. Sasuke has made it clear before that nothing matters to him except his current goal.

This means that Sasuke will still remain indifferent to his "friends"; if they get in his way, he will kill them.

Sasuke will certainly want to kill Obito and/or Madara. And also I think Sasuke will turn good, not right now, but as a gradual process starting from when he fought with Itachi, continuing now, and concluding with his fight with Naruto. I'm not saying that makes sense, but Kishimoto is clearly setting up for that.

This ^, also, Sasuke's hatred wasn't something of his own. As said in the latest or so chapters, it was because Uchiha have too much emotions and when this specific chakra is released in their brain it makes them think of Hatred. Imo Sasuke won't turn good or bad.

I completely agree. Kishimoto is skilled at creating characters with depth. Sasuke is my favorite character because he is interesting and cannot simply be labeled as "evil".

You can make he argument that it has also diminished over the time (Since his first talk with Obito) after the fight with Itachi.

- He learns that there is a possibility that what Itachi did was actually to protect the village.
- Kills Danzo thinking it would do him good.
- Finds scroll to release the Souls and talk to the Kage.


I think what he really wants is clarification. His hatred is misguided because that is what he followed for most of his life but in reality it was built up on false claims (Itachi massacring the Uchiha for no reason). I think he will still have Best Friend Feelings towards Naruto, since he was the closest to him before he left.

I seriously doubt he joins the good guys after this. Plus we now know the EMS gets stronger by hatred so really it wouldn't make sense for Sasuke to let go of his hatred at this point.

GTFOH dude, really so because it gets stronger with hatred; Sasuke has to follow Madara uh huh if you were writing Naruto it would be the worse thing since Bobobobobobobob. At least if your going to type something out think first, Sasuke has EMS , he is nothing like Madara if anything he will follow / continue what his brother did and protect the Leaf.

What has sasuke wanted to do ever since he found out the true about Itachi, cleanse the Uchiha name following in Madara and Obito's foot steps won't make much sense now would it. HELL NO!!
