I was watching part 1 of the Naruto anime (because it's awesome) but something has been irking me since I first saw it. The first time we see Sasuke's chidori, it is preceded by Sasuke showing off his ridiculous new taijutsu and speed. Then eventually Gai is like, why would Kakashi teach him Lee's techniques if they didn't work for Lee, but then he realizes the reason and says "oh it's a physical activation". I honestly don't get how running around really fast and then running up a wall activates the Chidori. I guess my real question is, was Sasuke's new found speed just one more way that kishi shows us how Sasuke is a 'genius' and doesn't have to exert effort for more than a couple minutes to do anything?
(By the way I'm honestly not trying to hate on Sasuke, it just seems like sometimes kishi goes out of his way to make Sasuke better than everyone else, but I do have to say, Sasuke's eyes are awesome but there is just NO way that eyes could increase your physical speed, its just physically inconceivable.)
