Sasuke has surpassed madara. That's for sure. Right now he could even beat JJ madara. Now about hagaromo. I believe the argument here is that when sasuke soloed the bijuu, hagaromo was very surprised. While this may place sasuke above hagaromo in terms of dojutsu skill. Hagaromo's yin power still greater than everybody's.

So being surprised by something means inferiority now? Lol. We might as well say naruto>>kaguya since he constantly surprised her Lol.

Realistically sasuke can beat madara let alone hogoromo. I don't know how strong he is now, but since feats are what count based on his past showings, he can't be more powerful.

This was at 17 When he had it for a couple hours.Surely Sasuke is even more skilled with the Rinnegan 10+ years later.

In power Sasuke probably can't surpass the Sage,but in skill,perhaps.

The Sage was also very surprised Sasuke got all the Bijuus in Genjutsu with a Glance.

From what we seen of Madara,when using Genjutsu on the Raikage he switched from Rinnegan to EMS,so i doubt the normal Rinnegan can use Genjutsu.

The Kyuubi also noted how Sasuke was new to the Rinnegan,and couldn't absorbed techniques while using his own.

Again,there was a 10+ year time skip.If he could use his Rinnegan so well from having it for just two hours,surely he's mastered it after more than a decade.

Judging from the spoilers he stomps the blonde guy,so hopefully we get a good display of his abilities then,like using a path he hasn't shown yet.

Kaguya (herself) was actually inside Madara at that point :| In fact u could pretty much say that Madara's body was hers, which explains the immortality now that i think about it

The only problem was that Kaguya didnt have the power to supplant Madara at that time so instead she just increased her influence on his mind.

Anyway since Madara had Kaguya's body it is only natural that he would have her eye

JJ Madara = Ashura + Indra

Hagoromo = Ashura + Indra

Sasuke = Hagoromo + Indra

Naruto = Hagoromo + Ashura

Both Naruto and Sasuke transcended one half of the Sage's power. Naruto has double the amount of Yang whereas Sasuke has double the amount of Yin and their powers combined rivals Kaguya's.

He has a sharingan in one eye and a rinnegan in the other.

His left eye is just a rinnegan with a different pattern, it functions the same like any other rinnegan.

He's used Amatersu and a basic ocular genjustu with his rinnegan eye. You can still use your uchiha powers through the rinnegan.
