I'm saying the ultime defense turned out to be a failure, kishi powered that sasunoo up so much only to have it taken out so briefly.

Are you implying that naruto could tank his own strongest attack? Cuz i dont think so.
Same rule works for sasuke, he has the defence but his own attacks should do damage to him, keeping shit balanced, 3rd raikge comes in mind here.

As far im concerned nothing specifically stated that PS got enhanced (which it logically should) but that it was used as container for that chakra.

And naruto's avatar should be 3 times stronger due to mixing with clones.

Other then that PS and BSM where shown equal.
