It's obvious that Itachi was portrayed as a ninja far above Sasuke in intelligence during the fight against Kabuto, when Kakashi was portrayed as a ninja on Itachis level in intelligence if not more in several fights including the fight against Itachi, Obito, Pain, etc. Do the math
Point me to a page where it directly says that Itachi and Kakashi are on the same level other than a freaking data book. Do what math? He failed against Zabuza trick badly the first time, he didn't fight Hiden or Kakuzu alone, and all the battle was thought out by Shikamaru. Deva path beat him so brutally that it's not even funny because of his errors in judgement. During his fight with Obito, he was only able to note the Kamui effects, because he knows how it works. I wouldn't call it an intelligent observation at all.
As far as Sasuke is concerned then he lead groups himself. Fought one on one with Deidara by figuring out his patterns alone, defeated Dazno by figuring out his technique alone, He flaked Orochimaru's skin off when he was still a freaking genin by figuring out his opponent's tactics, he figured out how Haku was using his kekki genkai and burnt a corner of his hakama. He understood Orochimaru's justu and struck him down cleverly. During his fight with A, he cleverly encased his sussano with enton and A had no choice but to go head on and lose an arm in the process. These don't count as genius feats to you?
Even considering all this, I still believe Kakashi is a extremely brilliant ninja. You on the other hand are just challenging the manga, and nothing more. Sasuke is a genius and manga says so. Give it up.
