I think they will Put off a fight like danzo did. I mean they can't have their status for nothing right? But sasuke will win because kishi backs him up
I truly don't know because we never had a chance to observe their fighting or techniques and who knows what they have hidden in their sleeves? Maybe age puts them at a disadvantage. I guess if sasuke kills them he will be more screwed than he already is...

Zetsu gave the Kage's chakra to Sasuke, so if anything he might've been just a little bit tired.

I don't know why everyone is saying Sasuke will absolutely destroy the Elders no matter what.
Look at old Hiruzen, he took away the most powerful Sannin's arms. Danzo, he almost killed Sasuke twice while holding back. That should be a clue. Sasuke will win of course, but will he just stomp the Elders no problem? Absolutely not.
I bet everyone said Danzo was weak, then he fought Sasuke. Now we know he's not weak.
But, when it comes down to it, we don't even know one of the Elders' abilities, so we can't say for sure. It just won't benefit the plot if they go down as easy as some people think.

It's late where I am, so I'll wrap this up. We have not seen any of the Elders' abilities, so we cannot say if they're weak or not. What I meant by Danzo was he never fought, so I bet people thought he was weak for it. The Elders don't fight, so people assume they're weak for it. I assume they're pretty powerful together because they fought in the war on Hiruzen's team, which was teamed with Danzo's, and also served directly under Tobirama.

No one can say if they're weak or strong as a fact, but I just assume they are strong due to their history and position, and I think they will be a challenge for Sasuke. He will win in the end though.
