Madara got the rinnegan after hashirama was dead but he had already injected himself with the DNA and Chakra it just took time for Ashura Chakra to Merge with his Indra Chakra and Awaken the Rinnegan

All the pre requisites are fulfilled and it's obvious Rinnegan is the next step. I don't believe Sasuke will eat the fruit because he no longer wants the absolute power Kaguya and Madara are after. I think he just wants to be strong enough to kill Naruto incase he goes mad with power. So his current status of power and gifts from Rikudou should be enough.
What a nonsense are you talking ? Before the transmigration ended Madara took Hashirama cell. This was the case why he could merged Indra´s chakra and Ashura´s charka. But that Hashirama died all the chakra is now reincarnated in Naruto. And he does not have Naruto´s chakra.
