Ok how is it a "whooping" when sasuke passed out IMMEDIATELY after the fight. Also, itachi wasn't hurt at all by sasuke. Itachi's death was from over chakra consumption and his illness. I know that itachi died (and we won't even go into the fact that he easily could have won (as said by zetsu) ) but how did sasuke "whoop" him when sasuke passed out seconds later?

Sasuke fought well . he broke tsukiyomi , effectively used oro substitution style to counter ametetasu , matched him during the shrurken exchange . however itachi didn't have intent to kill. and sasuke had no answer for susanoo ! that being said itachi said sasuke had potential to surpass him . and in some ways he has.
