I explained how Sasuke already has acknowledgment. Also, I'm sure that if the past Hokages are okay and acknowledge Sasuke then they will too. Unless they're as close-minded as you of course, who is completely thwarting my answers to your argument points away like they don't answer your points...which they already do.... :leaf:

Sasuke is already acknowledged by everyone. His strength. His change of heart. Whether it's bad acknowledgment or not. If Hashirama accepts Sasuke, I'm damn sure the rest of them will too.

Being acknowledged as a criminal is not something that makes you Hokage.

You don't put a person everyone views as a criminal in charge.

The whole village acknowledges him as a traitor and a murderer, so no he hasn't been acknowledged as Hokage material.

The village actually has to like you for you to be Hokage.

Sasuke will be Hokage. Naruto will realize that Sasuke needs to be Hokage more than he needs to be hokage. Also naruto already has the whole ninja alliance behind him and they all acknowledge him like he wanted to. Plus whats a Hokage got on the future SO6P?

I was thinking the same thing Naruto had already reach his goal in being acknowledged I'm sure Naruto will pass the torch to Sasuke for some gay reason

This thread is pretty much a collection of comments people have already said in other threads but.....

They aren't going to fight for the title of Hokage.

If you read the chapter carefully, Sasuke has the wrong idea about what a Hokage is. He thinks if he becomes Hokage, people will acknowledge him and listen to him.

Naruto knows better because Itachi told him that it's the other way around, that everyone acknowledges the person that will become Hokage.

So when they fight, it wont be for the title of Hokage. Sasuke will be fighting to prove that it is his power that will make everyone acknowledge him and accept him as Hokage. But Naruto will most likely win, and he'll contribute his superiority in strength to the fact that all of his friends acknowledged him first, thus making him the better Hokage candidate. So Sasuke will get his life lesson, and Naruto will fulfill the promise he made to Itachi to set Sasuke straight once and for all. In other words they wont be fighting to see who will become Hokage, they'll be fighting to see who's idea of what a Hokage is is correct

"Sasuke turned good" is one of my pet peeve quotes here.

Sasuke has not changed.

Sasuke has remained on the side he was always on; his own side. When he tried to get revenge, Kakashi told him no (then turned around and said yes to Shika and gathered a whole team to hunt down not one but TWO Akatsuki) and basically left him to his own defenses.
Turns out Konoha Government was behind the genocide.
Sasuke is going to avenge his clan no matter what (by killing everything that dared harm his family and his brother).
Now Sasuke gained more intelligence (as in combat intelligence) and is brilliant enough to come up with a better, longer term plan. He realizes that a random attack on Konoha would just continue the cycle of hatred and he needs to create a better way to get justice for his family.

Vengence is a darker and more emotional word then justice.

TL;DR
So no, Sasuke did not "turn good". He turned smart. Konoha is evil, not Sasuke.

I'm positive Sasuke is aware the village will call him a monster.

Then it will be a 180 switch from Naruto being the popular guy and Sasuke being the one everyone avoids.
