To use kirin, yes you have to wait a full turn for the clouds and conditions to form then you have to say.... "I use chidori to control the lightning and use kirin" Or something along those lines.

But when it comes to it, i think mayfly can escape as long as its used as the opponent uses chidori taking control of the lightning... like when sasuke did, but i think once you control the lightning its too late.

Unless your a sensei its not your job to post here neither is it mine, but atleast im not going to waste my time trying to flame...

Edit: Im fighting him for personal reasons, and like this was for personal reasons.

I'm on minato's side of this argument, not the timing, but for the actual usage of chidori being included within the Kirin jutsu. Now before you trolls start in hith the "herr derr, HBA made a rule a long ass time back stating you have to put the chidori in front of the Kirin" and blah blah. You might also remember that when that was written it was stated that putting chidori in front of Kirin did not actually count as a separate jutsu.

My interpretation if Kirin is that the move consists of the act of forming a chidori then using that to direct the lighting, similar to how with water typhoon vortex is created by making a destruction torrent and a fuuton rasengan then combining it. You dont actually have to put the fuuton rasengan and destruction torrent in front of water typhoon vortex so why hould Kirin be any different.

I'd like to remind you all that this is just my opinion, but you have to admit it makes a valid point. Falling back on an outdated rule that no one can find anymore doesnt count as a valid argument in my opinion.
