But sage mode last 5 minutes what about that sage mode can only last 5 minutes and so Sasuke doesn't always open up his battles with susanoo either

Well, I think Naruto's Sage Mode was stronger, because he perfected it. But it had its limits since he acheived it by himself and not without Ma/Pa (wich I think is awsome). Jyraia had Ma and Pa helping him out, so it's practically unlimited. Sasuke's Genjutsu might be trouple, but those are three sets of eyes at once, so....
Jyraiya by himself (didn't use sage mode) was on par with Orochimaru. Yes, Sasuke killed Orochimaru, but he wated until he was sick, bedridden, weak, and incapable of sufficiantly defending himself. But still, Sasuke killed him non the less.
People saying Jyriya would rape Sasuke? I'd like to beleive that, but I'm not really sure. Granted Sasuke is strong, smart, skilled, and a stratigic genious. I don't like Sasuke but I wouldn't undermine him, either. Then again, so is Jyraiya.
Amaratsu and Susano'o would get in the way, but even with that Sasuke had trouble with the five Kages. I mean, the red-headed chick from the mist village almost melted through it if the fight didn't open up into the second room (where every one else was). I'm sure Jyraiya would have thought of simethin as well.
They're both skilled and talanted, but I guess we won't know for sure since Jyraiya is dead. I'm just glad that creep, Kabuto, didn't bring him back. (I know he couldn't; Horray!)
Migualon J.J. keeps saying that sasuke would beat jyraiya and he said that itachi was stronger than sasuke, but in one episode itachi and kisame were watching jyraiya and itachi said if kisame and he went head to head with jyraiya they would lose.
I think Jyraiya would beat sasuke, it wouldn't be extremely easy but he would win.

man, i LIKE that old pervert, but in all those VS threads he is, it is for the other guy + argument "he taught this guy, this guy and this guy" is pretty stupid if you ask me
man i replied to this on this thread at least 3 times: Itachi was ally of KONOHA so why the hell would he want to kill 1 of the strongest shinobis of KONOHA which he always wanted to protect? + i cannot believe people still think that jiraya could beat ITACHI alone + he had KISAME there with him, i doubt jiraya would beat both of them, cause itachi would beat him himself

jiraiya's sage mode is stronger than naruto's. naruto became stronger than jiraiya when he unlocked the kyuubi mode. i'm not a sasuke but he is an strong fighter very smart also, but the only way i think he would win is if he catches jiraiya off guard with kirin but other than that i dont see him winning. so to me in this fight jiraiya all the way. he might have some trouble but jiraiya would beat sasuke.

I believe Jiraiya has the edge in this fight.
In sage Mode Jiraiya becomes immune to Sasukes Genjutsu due to Ma and Pa being able to disrupt his chakra flow if necesary, and he can be in sage mode for as long as he wants, because ma and pa constantly gather nature chakra for him.
Amaterasu is a problem, but I still believe this jutsu is over hyped, not a single shinobi in the manga has been defeated by amaterasu, Sasukes speed in his fight with itachi was fast enough to avoid amaterasu and Sage mode speed is much higher than Sasukes at the time. Also jiraiya had perfected a transparency technique as a child and he can really be burned by amaterasu if sasuke cant see him xD
Susano'o: Sasukes trump card, but several things jiraya possesses that can help him counter. The first is Swamp of the underworld, the technique he used to trap Oros snake summon even when tsunades poison had him at less than 30% of his normal power, if jiraiya was in sage mode while he made the swamp he could potentially make one big enough to sink Konoha if he wanted to. The second is the toad stomach he is able to reverse summon people into, as seen while fighting pein, and killing/capturing animal paths body. The insides of the stomach have a deadly acid that Jirayia is the only one immune to, so he would be able to take the fight into the toad.
Tsukuyomi: Sasukes Tsukuyomi has proved to be very weak he used it well against Danzo in that he tricked him into thinking he had an extra eye, however Jiraiya has no time sensitive techs that Sasuke can effect.
Ive seen a lot of people making logic steps in saying that Jiraiya cant beat Oro so he cant beat sasuke, But sasuke was only able to defeat Orochimaru because he was in a weakened state, and Jiraiya never used sage mode while fighting Orochimaru, nor did he ever want to kill orochimaru.
To clear up where some people have been saying that naruto surpassed Jiraiya, the context in which that was being said was in narutos ability to use sage mode as well as rasengan. Jiraiya still has many more techniques than naruto many of which we have seen him to be the only one capable of using. He also has more battle experience and is much more intelligent. Its not an easy fight as sasuke is still one of the strongest Shinobi, and if Jiraiya didnt have sage mode i think that sasuke would win.

Also wanna give props to Migualon J.J. for actually posting real arguements instead of just saying he thinks sasuke is gonna win for no reason, the one thing I would disagree with is the assumption that Itachi could kill jiraiya and the only reason he didnt was because he was a secret ally, I do think he would have faired better than he had told Kisame, but i think its not fair to make the arguement that he could definitely beat Jiraiya. However at the same time i dont think that saying "itachi said he couldnt beat jiraiya therefore sasuke loses" is a reasonable arguement either

No, you're misunderstood. Sage mode only lasts 5 minutes for Naruto, Jiraiya's last forever with Fukasaku and Shima fused on his shoulders because they constantly take in natural energy.
when jiraya was hurt, he went out of sage mode and didnt re-enter it during their "fight". i dont think that he can use it unlimited without cooldown.
i think sasuke would win.
jiraya fought three pains on equal ground who are altogether way weaker than deva path, who naruto fought one vs one. and according to naruto sasuke was way stronger than him when he fought danzo.
apart from that i think jiraya's speed isnt that fast. he wasnt fast enough to just overwhelm pain even in sage mode, pretty much like naruto who even had better results in close combat. if naruto is on the same speed, so are sasuke and kakashi, meaning that jiraya can neither evade amaterasu nor susano'o's arrow and that sasuke is able to read his movements.
sasuke on the other hand can block every rasengan with a chidori-spear if he sees it coming, can block fire with fire and earth with lightning. and has susano'o just in case.

When jiraiya fought pain, pain himself said jiraiya himself would have defeated him had he had some intel on him, while on the other hand naruto had full intel, pain was not fighting with intent to kill, hinata interfered which triggered the 9 tails which was the only reason naruto beat deva path.
Jirayias speed isn't his most impressive trait, while in sage mode I believe he can definitely dodge amaterasu, he might not be able to dodge susanoos arrow, however he does have more than one barrier technique as well as many earth style techniques he could potentially use to block. However danzo was able to avoid the arrows and I don't believe him to be as strong as jiraiya.
Sasukes chidori is not strong enough to deflect one of jirayias gigantic rasengans, and just bekiraiya uses oil in combination with his fire techs in order to power them up, and sasukes lightning has an advantage over earth but it doesn't mean it can block any eartj style attack.

Jiraiya takes this, sasuke is very powerful indeed but J-man is smarter and have more battle experience, sasuke just uses his sharingan like crazy + J-man can use his summons + sage mode, that would destroy sasuke but it would be a great fight.
