Itachi was working for Konoha, so why would he even want to kill anyone from Konoha? He fought as less as possible.

Sage Mode has a 5 minute duration and Jiraiya never mastered it. The sage frogs dont even give Jiraiya an advantage because Sasuke could see through their genjutsu. Jiraiya is the man but lets not give him too much credit, if people say Naruto would lose in sage mode than Jiraiya would lose too. Naruto surpassed Jiraiya's sage mode so Jiraiya loses this fight. But none of this is due to power Sasuke actually worked to gain, its all from his Dojutsu.

one more thing, I see some people think very high of Sasuke, we all have our opinions and maybe I'm wrong, but with no ems, sasuke is in the A, Mei,Gaara, Danzo,.....group and not in the Minato, Nagato and Jiraiya, Itachi...I mean if he's was so invincible with the MS what the hell does he need EMS for? I believe he's a bit overestimated...he IS very strong, but let's not exaggerate.

Naruto = stronger than Jiraya
Sasuke = Par with Naruto.
This is what the story is showing us.. Again, watch for the facts in perception of the characters, rather than just your opinions. :flaw:

Madara says himself, he's surpassed Nagato, and also admits that he can't control Sasuke, this must tell you in itself Madara is afraid of what Sasuke has the potential to do.

Naruto was just playing arround we all know that if naruto goes sage mode before meeting sasuke he's a dead bun also naruto surpass jman in sage mode means he can do it without having resemblance of frogs it doesn't mean he can stay longer than jman jman has unlimited supply of chackra and more jutsu cause he collaborate with the toad compared to naruto hence sage mode naruto is Still weaker than jman mastering harnessing chackra from ur surrounding dosen't make naruto stronger or can beat jman infect even in nine tails mode naruto would ave to think real hard to beat jman so get it in ur skull sasuke can't win he could be sealed in a matter of seconds just like the pain body they got with intel.....as a matter of fact naruto with no intel on pain would be captured as a matter of fact the nine tail gave naruto a win so without it he would ave lost jman could beat him also Madara did say naruto has become truly powerful to do that and sasuke would ave problems if he attacked the village with him there then: the only time he is gona surpass nagato is with ems and don't listen Tobi nothing he says is true he might not even be Madara if u get wat am saying

He just needed something to awaken it deep inside him, the anger..the drive. Madara knew that Sasuke had something all along.
The only Uchiha to attain M.S without having to kill and i quote by Sasuke "I'll surpass you in my own way" referring to Uchiha Itachi.
If what the story is showing to be evident. It's that Sasuke, is the only Uchiha member thus far..to attain M.S without having to kill anyone (let alone the closest person to him)
