I think that Gaara will get some new strenght after fighting his dad... I wote for Gaara in this, but it is a very close race.

thats true on the chidori bit but kirin will destroy gaara's sand its 100 times faster and when sasuke used it against itachi, itachi said he would of died if he didnt hav susanoo and even thou he had susanoo he was still hurt and susanoo>gaara's sand

ok but with a shield with the magnitude of what he used against deidara will give him time to move out of the way so kirin is useless and after he uses it do u knw how weak he will be? gaara wouldnt be weak at all since its his mother who moves the sand to protect him

I think that everyone is seriously underestimating Gaara, his sand right now can deal with all of Sasuke's crap, but I'm still not sure who would actually win in the end...it would be tough...also even if you were to consider sand as earth, Gaara's nature element is WIND, and wind can deal with lightning. in case Sasuke uses fire, he can defend himself with sand...more than those physical attacks, I think a bigger problem for Gaara would be if he gets caught in a genjutsu...still to say "Sasuke would easily win is just silly".

No way can Suigetsu touch Gaara!!!! Gaara wud just sand tsunami and if suigetsu tries to wet all that then he wud just get burried in mud! Mud slides are a natural disaster u know.

I can give u 5 reasons why Gaara cud beat Sasuke too.
1. Quick sand cud drown Sasunoo
2. Gaara's huge sand defense cud guard lighting
3. Sasuke cant keep amatarasu as long as he wants, he tires his entire body
4. Using the MS puts a huge burden on sasuke
5. It wud be near impossible for him to get Gaara in a Genjutsu
6. Gaara's sand is just as fast or faster than amatarasu

Gaara is strong but to say he can beat Sasuke is just dumb. I've given enough facts as to why this is true.

oh yeah about amaterasu when they say it can burn anything it CAN burn anything the only downside is that it burns slowly giving the opponent to take off their clothes or remove body parts if amaterasu spread fast like normal fire then a would be dead.
sasuke vs gaara sasuke was already tired from overusing his mangekyou and blaze style cuz in case u didnt know mangekyou jutsu consume incredible chakra so just give full chakra let him use amaterasu and see if the sand does turn into glass or dissolve cuz if u really think that sand can protect a giant flam then ur stupider than how youve been sounding in your posts. one more thing his moms not gonna protect him against genjutsu cuz shes dead

thanx bro its cuz that idiot argues with the stupidest reason talkin bout a dead woman. naruto had his parents inside him but that didnt make him the best in the academy. plus the only reason gaara is kazekage cuz the village elders just let him be not cuz of his abilities they even said it themselves
