lets say gaara finds sasuke on the bridge where danzo and sasuke fought and they are about to fight one on one who will win

restrctions orochimaru coming out

sasuke. put the battle in the middle of the desert and sasuke still more than likely wins. lightning over earth (sand) everybody knows that. sasuke wouldnt even need lighning to beat gaara though. susanoo could do the trick. but if he had to he could just use kirin to kill gaara, and it would kill gaara thenarutoking. lightning over earth

Gaara's sand is very strong and a great defense, Gaara's sand also can keep up with amatarasu. As for sasunoo, Gaara wud have a hard time hitting sasuke but Sasuke cannot keep up MS for that long, especially if Sasuke tries amatarasu a couple times and it fails. Sasuke wud be worn out, then when MS runs out, Gaara crushes him with sand! U_U

kirin:if gaara makes a shield the size he made against gaara he will be ok or stall it long enough to move
amaterasu:gaaras sand is fast enough to dodge it
susanoo arrows:with some sand and condesing it he will block the arrows
susanoo:cant move while using it so gaara can use the whirlpool quicksand and suck him under
sasuke will have side effects from using sharingan
tsukyomi:gaaras mother can wake him up just like the 8 tails did bee or he can just surround himself in a ball and use his third eye which is made of sand
gaara wins and if sasuke uses full susanoo he cant move and then gaara can use the whirlpool quick sand and bury gaara not to mention he can turn the battlefield into a desert

Eh, i'm not so sure it will be as easy as you say, but nonetheless, I THINK I see Sasuke winning, I haven't gone through all the scenarios in my head yet. And is sand considered earth? Or is it a combination?

Sasuke wins this one, apparently Gaara can block Amaterasu but Sasuke is much faster than Gaara and earth is weak against lightning. If Sasuke uses Kirin on Gaara it is pretty much a deal breaker. Even Gaara's sand isn't faster than lightning. Also if Gaara sits still and blocks with his sand Sasuke can just use fire and turn it into glass. Also take into account Susanoo which is a much better absolute defense than Gaara's sand. And if it is on that bridge than Gaara doesn't have access to as much sand as he normally does, and nowhere near the amount he has while fighting the previous kages.
