Sasuke's power ups - the Curse Mark, Mangekyo Sharingan, Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and the Tomoe Rinnegan.

- He earned the CM by overcoming his fear against Orochimaru, fighting him one on one, outsmarting him, setting his face on fire, and impressing him. Orochimaru saw his potential and gave him it.

The CM significantly negatively effected him until he mastered it, thus gaining perfect control. Orochimaru gave it to him with the intention of it overwhelming him, taking control of him, turning Sasuke into his puppet like all the others (hence the Sound 5), but he overcame it through willpower, and through training mastered it.

- He earned the MS, and EMS by training for years so he could become strong enough to kill Itachi, then fighting him to the point where he passed out from exhaustion. Sure, Itachi let him win, but it's not like he did nothing yet attained the MS.

Besides, he could have attained MS from killing Naruto. If he had it then he likely would have killed Itachi himself. Itachi couldn't use his for extended periods of time, Sasuke could. His Susano'o would out last his. Plus he he had the CM aswell, which meant the even more powerful Senjutsu Susano'o.

After killing Itachi, he at any point could have transplanted his eyes for the EMS. After the battle, Tobi asked Sasuke what he wanted to do with Itachi eyes. Sasuke decided not to take them then because his goals of wanting to destroy Konoha was the complete opposite of Itachi's goals.

Later he experienced the significant negative effects of the Mangekyo and decided to take Itachi's eyes, as that was the only way he could remain in full condition and continue to use his Mangekyo powers. If the MS didn't have any negative side effects then he likely wouldn't have chose to take Itachi's eyes til the war where he decided to protect Konoha and the Shinobi World. Having the EMS would better ensure that he would be able to do so.

- The Tomoe Rinnegan was the only thing you can logically say that he didn't earn. But he was given half the Sage's power for a very good reason - to save the world. Nonetheless, the Sage didn't give him knowledge nor instant mastery of his new powers. He learned how to use them, and developed them through battle and training.

He was forcefully given the CM against his will, didn't ask for the MS/unintentionally awakened it, only decided to attain EMS due to the negative effects of the MS, and accepted half the Sage's power because it was absolutely neccessary to save the world. And you were one sided aswell.

You know Sasuke earned all his other abilities and skills through training/battle, yet only highlighted his power ups in a negative way. Speaking of that, he learned to use and developed his MS abilities/skills in battle, same for the EMS & Tomoe Rinnegan's. And did some brief offscreen training with the EMS, and alot with the TR
