I think the chances of Sasuke turning back now are gone. If he were to have a 'change of heart' it would be a tad.. ridiculous?

The way I see it, at this point he's gone to far and the leaf village most likely would rather have him dead then attempting to come back. I think he dies in the end, in a final showdown with Naruto.

To be honest Sasuke will live and suffer a change of heart and Naruto will die in the end. Naruto will die with a smile as he managed to save his friend. However Sasuke won't return to Konoha while Naruto would be proclaimed as the sixth hokage post mortem.
