Itachi was still a grave-robber Danzo's, Elders' and possibly Tobi's pawn.

Sasuke is the most badass in terms of power, the only second Uchiha to have Fuumetsu Mangekyou, and that is badass instead of being a Senju dog (no offence to Itachi fans) like Itachi, Shisui etc.

My second favorite Uchiha is obviously the Legendary Madara of course

Itachi was a compete tool for Danzo, he is not even close to a hero at all. He followed the crude methods that Chiyo, Mist Village, Danzo, Elders practiced. and he died like a tool too.

He made mass genocide for his so called "peace", and genocide for peace isn't even real peace to start with. Hell, if it needs genocide for peace, then I rather go with Madara's moon's eye plan.

We cannot assess Sasuke's power as of now. We haven't seen Sasuke in real fights recently. Best option is wait and see.

Since Sasuke is supposed to fight Naruto, he has to become powerful. In the end he may become a match to Naruto in some sort of way. I don't know how!
