Sasuke the juubi host!(Obito's motives)

Now we know that obito had long shown interest in sasuke way before negato's death but we never really got an explanation as to why, well i have a theory as to why. i believe sasuke is meant to be the host of the juubi and obito is prepping him

this page recently made me think about sasuke have a biju when i thought didn't tobi say he'd give him one

why exactly is still sort of a mystery maybe to bring back madara or to steal his eyes or body maybe as his successor or just to bring him back after reviving rin himself whoknows as of now?? but he defiantly wants sasuke to progress and connect him to the juubi

so any thoughts? disagree?

I do think though that if this were the case, Obito would've kept more of an eye on him and kept him in closer reach rather than just one Zetsu clone as his guard. Plus we know how much Obito dislikes Orochimaru so the last thing he'd want is him walking off with him or making contact with Itachi again.

I still like the theory though, it always puzzled me why Obito took time out from his huge objective to hang around with a little survivor Uchiha boy. Obito hardly seems like the type to get nostalgic over his clan...

He doesn't need to power up sasuke because he just need to activate the moon eye plan to put everyone in genjutsu

Well making him the Juubi's jinchuuriki would actually be boring in my opinion. He already have op eyes and Naruto finally caught up with Sasuke by being friend with Kurama. Wouldn't it be boring if Sasuke now took Juubi and went to a totally different level?

It's plausible if we work on the premise that he had no intention to revive Madara, but a question arises: why didn't Obito wait for Sasuke to recuperate and bring him along with the Juubi's revival if Obito intended to make Sasuke its' host in the first place?

Idk why go all this way. Remember he wanted to activate the moon eye plan awhile ago but Madara wouldn't yet him do it. Why would obito want to use it if he planned to just make sasuke its jinchuriki. Nice theory any how.

I have been venturing this from the start; Obito had no plans to Revive Madara. He planned on using Sasuke as a substitute, hence the reason why he pushed him throughout the manga. That would also explain why he betrayed Sasuke at the summit, and he lot his light fairly quickly after facing multiple Kage opponents and their bodyguards. He wanted him to acquire Itachi's eyes to gain EMS.

The fact remains that why hasn't he thought of it now?

he does have sasuke on his mind but not his immediate thoughts as he is in the heat of battle

I would not be surprised if this is true. I have often wondered if the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke will be over the fate of the 10 tails with each having there own plans for it. Also it would explain Obito's fixation with Sasuke.

Obito doesn't care about sasuke anymore..as we have seen obito doesn't want to sacrifice himself to revive madara so he was going to use sasuke for that..sasuke was just a pawn for obito to gather the tailed beasts U_U

Yeah, this new page shows that he seems to care about Sasuke's Safety.

Nope. . Its not bout being the jinchuuriki at all. The only thing that Obito want from Sasuke was his eyes. ! Sasuke's RINNEGAN. ! After now Sasuke has EMS, Obito's plan just only one step further. . Implant the hashi dna into sasuke body with sasuke being the jinchuuriki (kyuubi power ) and using Naruto to stimulate sasuke to activate the RINNEGAN. . ! Cos rite now OBITO has only 1 RINNEGAN and he'll lose it when he perform RINNEI TENSEI to bring back MADARA so he have to get new eyes and it would be Sasuke's RINNEGAN!

If Obito never intended to revive Madara this makes sense. Obito would want to corrupt Sasuke and power him up so that he could host the Juubi to carry out the Moon's Eye plan instead of Madara.

Why Obito would need Sasuke and not do it himself is that he doesn't have Tsukuyomi which Sasuke does. It is assumed that Madara has Tsukuyomi because of Susanoo.
